I feel there was a metaphorical gun in the form of keeping us going that was to his head, not neccessarily to get HRH involved but certainly someone.

Given that we needed to get someone in to help McCabe, I still fail to see how it's all his fault.

Whatever has been triggered seems to be outside any agreement made to get HRH in or there wouldn't be all this talk of a legal wrangle and we'd all know who triggered it and what they have triggered.

McC agreed sumat that doesn't appear to stack up all just to grab a £1.

If Sky know something then Wilder must have been lying earlier when he said there had been no contact from Sunderland

He's hardly going to stitch up a club that could be offering a potential contract that will make him wealthy.

Canton Orchard. Sometimes known as the mad house. West 10. Posing place. Rafters posh but good. All you may say Ranmoor or Nether Green. Further up The Rising Sun has a "restaurant" and opposite an excellent expensive Curry house at the end of his road called Lavang.
He was in the Canton Orchard.

If he goes I'll pitchfork his fucking tyres the posing get. :D
Canton Orchard is right across the road from the Fulwood Inn and plenty of people have mentioned him drinking in there previously.

I never said he was. I was merely pointing out that if there had been contact he would have been lying. For the record I don’t think he was lying.

Some kind of old parish bylaw or something. But TBF if my local was the Shiny Sheff i’d be teetotal too.

Ha ha, I'm from Lodge Moor originally - now reside in Shiregreen - long story! The Sheff truly is the worst pub I've been to in Sheffield, certainly S10. Its the only pub I know that had a refurb and managed to look worse than it did before the refurb!

For the record the Sheff is in Lodge Moor not Fulwood. It was built with the flats behind.

McCabe probably made a deal he now regrets because we were in danger of falling in to league one.

Not surprising as he’s sold off players on the cheap in the past out of desperation and for a quick win.

He probably now regrets it and is trying to wriggle out of the deal but should just let go and let the club move forward before we lose our greatest asset.

If that was the case they’d keep taking money on him not suspended the betting
They get it all wrapped up between themselves , remember the umbrella man going to the pigs , went shorter than1/2 betfair have only took a couple of thousend on the Sunderland job , The pompy job with Redknapp/ Warnock 16 million changed hands .

He does live within walking distance from there and The Fulwood Inn is the closest pub to his house.

Sunderland still getting parachute payments. Will Wilder be the best paid manager outside of the top 6 in the Championship? Not league position but manager salary.

Eh? Not the Rising Sun? He must take the wife to the Fulwood Inn and his mates to the Sun. True story, when we were playing Leicester in the little Cup he popped into Ranmoor Friery for fish and chips. Lad behind the counter making conversation says he's dead excited because Leicester are playing United and he's going (he's a Leicester supporter) and he asks CW who he supports. CW convinced he's winding him up, rest of customers pissing themselves.

Still not sure what either McCabe or the Investor formerly known as Prince will achieve if Wilder walks.

The thing with the parachute payments is that it's not just the amount of money gifted, but having a free hand to spend it.

If it's purely about ambition, money, salary, etc then the Sheffield clubs will come second best to the parachute clubs every time.

No he lives on the other side of Fulwood inn to the rising sun on a road off Endcliffe Vale Rd.

This is of course hypothetical, as he hasn't gone.

I've said it before I'll say it again. I will think less of Chris as a man if he leaves us, 'his' club to go to a sinking ship that's just been relegated to League One. And I couldn't care less what you think about it.

The first sign of a fight and he jumps ship from his apparent dream job? After screaming for loyalty from his players for 2 seasons? Don't think so.
Unless behind the scenes he's being told "if you don't win the first 10 games you're out" there's absolutely no excuse for that career move.
If your as bigger blade as you say you are then surely you stick it out a while and try to do the best you can ,it's not like the club's in turmoil so why the need to jump ship .I don't think he'll leave I thinks he's just trying to give the board a kick up the arse but if he does he will have gone down in my estamations

Exactly mate.
As far as I'm concerned having a pop at the board was fine but the hints at leaving just aren't on at all. Shows serious disrespect to the club and us as paying fans who idolise the bloke.

I’ve not read the whole thread so apologies if this has been said.
CW might be using the Sunderland link to speed up the board room solution. Hence the reason he’s not quashed it, but if this is the case he probably has no intention of leaving. He’s just being smart (in a good way )

Apart from making daft attempts at why words should be restricted to a specific size (Feeling insecure? Maybe that's all you've ever known, to speak in words of two or three syllables, so anything beyond this causes you to struggle?)

Your introductory comment didn't make sense - "How on earth don't you?". How on earth don't I what? As for the remainder of you views about Wilder, you still haven't offered factual evidence, just a vague (long word alert!) description without actual evidence of what Wilder said.

Emphasising that you have an issue with words of a certain length makes no sense. Are you suggesting that the English language should be reduced to a limited number of communications (sorry, another long word)?
I don't have an issue with long words, for example, you're condescending. Seen it on other threads, also seen it first hand on this one. It's just as if you have to drop as many 'big' words into your posts to seem an almighty voice from the gods when infact you're someone who knows the square root of nothing.

It's a good practice in future, when being condescending, to have a fucking clue what you're talking about. Otherwise you're just going round and round in circles, not actually making a concise point. I feel like I'm Swindon on that magic roundabout, for fucks sake pal, wind your neck in.

C+ for creative effort. As for making coherent points, well you're struggling as usual.

If you and your kind actually thought for once you might realise that your rants about Wilder are clueless diatribes. If the best you have is to focus on what words I choose to use then you really are about as pointless as it gets. Now, back to the dictionary old son, you've so much catching up to do.

Not neccessarily, could be down to how the agreement is interpreted.

Is your last sentance serious?

One or two posts on here already starting to spin this as Wilder’s fault and not the Board.

In few weeks we will be seeing the “how lucky we are to have Kev” posts.

Surely we already have this

Some people appreciate how much he has put into the club

Others ask why if he has put so
Much in are we in the same position
Why do we not appear ambitious
Why do we always shoot ourselves in the foot
Why does he appear to make some decisions based around personal gain rather than that for the good of the club
