Alan Biggs questions to the owners

The sale of house is a good analogy and this is a divorce.

The house will fall down unless It's underpinned and the owners need to have the work done.

The sale price will be altogether better when the work is done. In fact the house will still be intact for the new owners.

A potentially messy divorce too, and also the only people who will really benefit are the Solicitors.

Biggs may be a plonker , everyone is entitled to their opinion.
I am neutral about him.
But us Blades are quick to criticize the local media as being in the Club's pocket.
It's ironic then , that as soon as one of them asks the right questions , some on here want to vent their personal agendas.
Which of us has not got those very questions swirling around their own head just now ?
Too bad if the Club ignores them , but at least they've been asked.
We have delighted in taking the piss out of the Chansiri ownership at Swillsborough.
We have boasted of how sensibly run we have been , in contrast to that lot.
I'm afraid we look badly run just now.
Our owners are suing each other !
So you want the journos to do nothing ?
The very existence of our Club is threatened , never mind a few bob for this summer's signings.
In such circs , the media would be negligent if it didn't try to find some answers.
Or are you saying that our potential demise , after 129 years , is not of legitimate public interest ?
We genuinely could be the first big old club to implode under the pressure of ridiculous wages & fees.

Potential demise? Jesus.

Who and where is the CEO? He should be the one bringing all parties together and fielding such questions.

9. have you received any season tickets torn into two pieces?
10. If so, how many?

The season ticket idea was intended to add punch to the message and the questions.

Nobody had to actually do it. Wow!! That's politics Blade.

It was a headline snatched, a message to reach Saudi. Certainly you remember it to this day.

In Wilder's interview either pre or post match this weekend I would expect him to say something along the lines of "I've spoken to the board and they've told me the situation". If he doesn't then I'd be worried that not even the manager is being kept in the loop. As for us fans most have said that we won't get to know until it's sorted, that is to be expected. If they aren't telling Wilder anything though I'd be concerned.

Suppose one owner sees a slightly different role for Chris. What good would causing a fall out now do?

I'd be surprised if they've told him enough to make his mind up one way or the other, however having publicly called them out then I'd be surprised if they haven't communicated with him. Quote me on this when it goes wrong but I honestly don't see why either of them would want to change his role anyway. A DoF role has screwed up many a club so why would we be stupid enough to do the same?!

The thing is, there's a DOF type guy on the board.

which to date has received a stoney silence from each party

Biggs, a busted flush for some time, also says "it won't stop me having my say" Bertie.

A bit like a petulant child. Why would the club owe him any answers, he's not even a Blade?

I wouldn't be at all surprised if he's lifted this from here, although usually, it's his "sources" (generally bullshit) who've told him.

As long as he stays there it's fine, if he starts sticking his nose in with the first team I'd expect to see Wilder walk. If Wilder thinks it would be any better at a basket case of a club like Sunderland or West Brom though (apart from the salary) he's got another thing coming.

Nobody seems to know anything. Not sure if that means lots of conversations are going on or they've reached an impasse.

I wish we at least knew what the possibilities were, or even what had been decided so far. Always worrying being this much in the dark about something you care about

I imagine inside SUFC it went a little like this...

Admin: That guy that only has his job because he’s been doing it ages has asked a few questions, basically based on reading stuff on twitter... what shall we do?

Boss: what’s he asked?

Admin: basically asked a load of stuff we’d never normally answer in the hope we won’t so he’ll have something to stir up about our lack of response.

Boss: Who has he asked them of?

Admin: Our two owners that have a little bit on at the moment. Who again don’t generally answer questions based on an e-mail from a ‘journalist’.

Boss: When did he ask?

Admin: Tuesday.

Boss: When has he asked for a reply?

Admin: Today/ tomorrow.

Boss: Tell him to fuck off.

One stone,two birds.....

8 detailed questions!! Blades Comms have difficulty dealing with questions about moving seats. Question 5 also seems to have missed two words off at the end " to Sunderland".

He's not going to get answers and he knows it. After 3 months of owners wrangling none of the local media have got anywhere near the truth behind what is happening. If litigation is far down the line the lawyers will have imposed a vow of silence. To KM that probably means being allowed to tell 1 person at a time.:)

This will happen in 30 years time after two of the most successful managerial reigns in English football history.

I'm gonna go for Chris Wilders grandson.
