The ref was an utter disgrace

Just got home. Not seen the posts yet but from looking at the title of threads today, the usual suspects are blaming it on Wilder/McCabe/ players etc obviously didnt go to the game.

The ref booked Duffy just after he scored. He then kept giving fouls to Birmingham for little or no reason. Waved play on when Duffy got upended just outside the box. I knew he would make sure that Birmingham would win today's game. Have never known a ref who hated quick free kicks. Is there a ruling against quick free kicks?

Am still fuming!!!

Just watched ‘the stream’ Silent...he was an odd un’ for sure....one great tackle on the edge of our box by JOC ( I think ) looked bizarre...I thought he was going to give em a pen at some point....
 
He was another annoying ref, particularly the second half free kick outside our area, that was clearly a good tackle. Yet he misses Lee Evans being clattered over. I wasn't impressed with Duffy's celebration to be honest and he deserved a booking. Celebrate in front of your own fans not your opponents!
 
Not the reason we lost, but his slowing down of the game was really fucking annoying.
 
Finicky ,picky & fucking annoying , but not to be blamed for our half arsed effort today when s big opportunity had yet again presented itself
 
Ref was poor which is rarer now in Championship than almost every week in league & quick free kicks werent allowed. Some fouls where very confusing. But we were poor & ref didnt effect us. As we are own worst enemy in this run in
 



I thought Duffy was OTT sliding on his knees in front of their fans because he's not had any stick of note from them, but nonetheless he gets booked and no fucker ever gets booked for goading the Kop worse than that.

Wouldnt surprise me he if was bribed. Talking to an AFC Wimbledon fan before the match, I told him about that match when John Fashanu handled the ball twice. "Speak of the devil" were the words that entered in my mind when the ref kept giving Birmingham free kicks for little or no reason as I have said in my OP, and kept stopping us taking quick free kicks about 7 or 8 times! Why was this???

I am sure the cunt who scored for Norwich at the Lane goaded our fans.

The ref today is another shit ref on the list of many. With Andre Marriner also claiming twat of the day last night and he is meant to be Premier League standard.

If I bribed a ref, I’d want more for my money than stopping quick free kicks!

I’ve not made any comments regarding McCabe or Wilder, but we certainly need better players.

So the reason we aren’t going up is because of poor refereeing?

Today we were well below par, looked tired and Birmingham wanted it more. However without a doubt he was the worst referee we have had the pleasure of this season. Bribed is obviously OTT but biased in the home sides favour, particularly 1st half is how the majority of us there saw it. At times it was so blatant it was exasperating. Ignoring quite obvious fouls on us and giving them against us for either innocuous infringements or quite simply where nothing happened. Immediately in front of us he pulled up Baldock twice in the first 15 mins and warned him when neither we even a foul! In the second half he pulled us numerous times for trying to take quick free kicks for no reason whatsoever. It happened so many times you had to question his motives. The worst 2 for me were the upending of Duffy first half and the pathetic reward of a free kick against us on the edge of our area for a great tackle.
When you are level at 1-1 and your teams 2800 fans are booing the ref, telling him he’s not fit to referee, calling him a cheat and your players are even questioning his decisions you know something isn’t right
