Haha quality.
He uses the 'Massive' description for us a bit but as long as he never refers to us just as "Sheffield" then Wilder will forever be my hero.

There have been signs before today. He’s a fan of the occasional “Saturday, Tuesday” line and talks about “winning football matches”.

Adkins must have left his book of phrases behind in the managers office.

We are one step away from him saying "No one knows of all the unseen work Enda Stevens does."

I don't understand the OP. Is it Morse code?

Its alluding to our lord and saviour and one of his most used words

Leuitenant James Cook set sail on Endeavour in 1769 from Whitby and 'discovered' Australia and New Zealand.

Imagine that. Every bit as daunting a challenge as Wilder took on after all that 'endeavour' under Adkins.

As much as I dislike the man & his tenure at BDTBL, it's worth noting that he's picked up 28 points since taking over at Hull, compared to our haul of 29 during the same period. He might have been crap for us, but he's obviously not without some abilities as a manager.

Honest, hard working, great bunch of lads

These lads are doing it week in week out on the training ground

Hull have a decent side, which he didn’t have with us in his defence. Next season could be interesting when he gets hold of the purse strings, which I suspect will be limited.

The type of manager who can fuel momentum, more crefible when results are good. Never got us going though.

He also said room for improvement today. Needs to keep on the Peroni and come off the Adkins diet.

Glad someone got it!!

Fun fact: the letters M O R S E were spelled out in Morse Code in the theme tune at the start of each episode. Quite often the killer's name was also revealed in Morse Code during the theme tune. Occasionally they'd throw in the Morse Code of another character, as a red herring.

(as revealed on Only Connect the other day, also Wiki).

Hull were in the Premiership last year and we were in League 1. Whatever changes there have been, Hull should be doing a lot better than that.

Abel Tasman

Taken from sufc.co.uk interview with Wilder regarding Leon Clarke:

Wilder added: "It's his first year back at this level and he does have Championship experience throughout much of his career, but there is always room for improvement"

Wilder also added: "I also asked Leon what the biggest room in his house was ........................................ and he's just had a lovely kitchen / diner extension, which might be slightly bigger than his tai chi suite"

NB: might have made that last bit up.

WAs he on board the Endeavour? The one that set of from Plymouth ( never went to Whitby) in 1768 ( the ship was in the South Pacific by 1769) and found its way to two places first "discovered" over a hundred years earlier?

Regards

Getting mixed up with Captain Pugwash I think.
