Why don't our players do the basics of what is expected of them?
What's with all this closing down, scoring goals and trying to manage the game?
Don't you know by now that your remit is to give the ball back at the earliest opportunity and let the superstars pander to their over-expectant company investor 'supporters' so they can have their entitled way?
Tonight, I sit here immensely proud of my club, our manager, our players and our supporters.
It was going to be a breeze wasn't it Spurs fans? 4, 5 or 6 nil wasn't it?
Truth was you got a massive scare didn't you?
Your wild cheers were out of relief that you just managed to scrape the 3 points out of a battling team of dedicated, committed galacticos today....something I doubt you'll ever be.
Even if we do go down, we have assembled a great squad with an incredible work ethic to be able to bounce back.
Sad thing is....it would be back to this over-exposed, over-funded, corrupt business that's shoddily dressed up as sport.
My only hope is that if we do yo yo for a while, we (or one of the other unwelcome guests) eventually destroy this money-driven status quo and celebrate success by graft and endeavour rather than who has the deepest pockets.
Over to you Spurs fans....after you've put your dummies back in that is.
