To talk of importance, I think it’s easy to downplay last season based on where we sit now, but it was vital, in many ways for the survival of the football club that we made it into the championship. Financially it was a hugely important, in terms of support, the same

It’s not vitally important to make the play offs, if anything it’s a big risk to make them, given our history of failed play off forays the risk of another month added to the end of the season and the disappointment with failure could break the amazing set up we currently have. Do we have the experience for failure in the play offs?

Reaching the play offs is a bonus, if we turn this into a positive, but only if we win them. To finish 7th would be amazing as it gives us everything - another year in the championship battling it out with some excellent sides, I’ve enjoyed this season so much more than many in the past, despite form dipping

The only positive about the play offs is the finances which come of it and the ultimate long term financial security it could bring

So in terms of importance, if we lose we don’t lose anything
