Another season loan could be possible (I hope). He's improved over the course of the season and has made some ridiculous saves past few games. Had to fight for his place at times through dips in form but he's come out on top and has everything required to make it in the prem. Tall, good shot-stopper, decent distribution, great commanding of the area and an ability to inspire confidence in the defenders. Unfortunately somebody in a better position than us may have noticed his qualities too.

Exactly this. In their adulation for Blackman (and he's good, don't get me wrong) people are dismissing Moore as though he's the reincarnation of Simmonsen. Short memories eh!

Blackman is a must buy in summer. Easiest man of match decision since hull in november Pull of 3 brilliant absolutely vital saves which shouldn't have mattered Should have been 2-0 up

Jamal is not a must buy mate. Why? Because if we bought him our whole budget for both windows would be gone on one player - based on the last two windows spending. As good as he is, we need the forward line to be strengthened as a priority in the summer. Billy and Leon both over 30 and lack pace, Donaldson will be released and is worse than the previously mentioned and Wilson isn't the answer either. Ched not yet looking likely to be a regular but I hope he is given a run in the side this season to show his worth, if the play offs become unlikely.

Simon Moore is still decent at this level and although we need another decent keeper I don't see Blackman at £3m plus, probably nearer £5m, as a realistic alternative. Unless the board increase their spending or we sell Brooks for £10 plus.

I'd try and loan him again. Chelsea clearly see something otherwise they wouldn't have given him such a long contract

Think Chelsea like to do that with most youngsters then get money in for loan fees before eventually selling them never having played for them

I'd say Moore is a good GK - it's just that Blackman is better. And he seems to be getting better by the week...

Jamal played at Hillsborough and Moore made probably the save of the season in the return at the Lane. Both are good goalkeepers

I would imagine Chelsea would like to loan him to a PL club should one be interested in Blackman .That would be the natural progression for Blackman. We do seem to have decent links with the bigger PL clubs though as Wilder has stated. I'm sure we'll dip into the loan market again next season and sign one a few more for the season loan option.
