“Wright (would be a huge shame but considering he's not had a look in since Xmas and assuming we will be upgrading on what we have,”
Huge assumption to make.
Steady on there you Shakey Jakeys.Wright will stay. No reason at all for him to leave.

Transfer listing almost the entire strike force - a bold decision!
Clarke, Sharp, Bash and Duffy? Give over. All have done brilliantly this season but you don't sell them just because we need to improve. You add to this group of players.
Care to elaborate ?I honestly don't think I've ever disagreed with so much in just one post.![]()
I really hope notCan't see Ched or Donaldson being here next season.
Holmes before Duffy you are kidding me?Based on the need to improve next season I would also transfer list:
Clarke or Sharp...we need pace and these two don't have it but we will need to keep one of them due to their experience. Personally I would keep Sharp as he is the better finisher
Donaldson- just not good enough
Ched- he has until the end of the season to prove himself. I would start him the next 3/4 games to give him a chance .
Basham- transfer list him. For all his effort and enthusiasm his passing is poor and he isn't good enough in either midfield or defence. If no offers come in he should be cover only
Duffy- lovely little player but he is going to be a bit part player. Brooks and Holmes will be above him
I would keep Lafferty as he is a good cover player and we will need the money elsewhere ( e.g. 3 new strikers)
Holmes before Duffy you are kidding me?
Not fit to lace his boots
Ok, Basham. He simply optimises everything that's great about the team right now. Ok technically he's the weakest centre half of the three but if you want to keep Lafferty because he can cover other positions yet get rid of Bash - then I think we have a very different views on "utility/squad players".Care to elaborate ?![]()
We should retain Louis next season. He'll do well in the Premier league.
I think Fleck and O'Connell have outstayed their welcome and need to be moved on.
Duffy's 32 now so couldn't argue with a contract termination. We should look to sell Baldock too because he might not get any better.
Then we can focus on getting cover for Basham, Stevens, Lundstram and Sharp.
Just because the pigs brought buses onto the Bramall Lane pitch in January doesn’t mean we have to go that one step further by bringing trams on to seal promotion, surely? As I've said I like Duffy as a player but can you see him in a tram that gets us promoted from this league ?
The comments yiuu have made about each player confirm to me why we need to look for improvement in each of those areas.Ok, Basham. You're willing to split up one of the most prolific strike forces in the division up. They aren't the fastest and they are aging but guess what? We arent going to go out and spend 10m on a striker like Wolves, Villa and the pigs. If we lose/let go of Hanson, Lavery there's still room for a prolific or slight gamble striker to come in.
But mainly, Duffy!
How the hell can anyone think that dropping Duffy is a good idea. Sure he tires, he's 30+ and he's not overly consisitant but he's the best we have in that very very hard to recruit in area!!
We've gone years without a player like him, we thought Carruthers was his replacement, this season Holmes... He's a little magician and I would play him and play him until his legs are completely gone.
I'm Flecks biggest fan, he's our engine but without Duffy we lack that "Killer ball" or that "little bit of creativity" that clubs pay millions and millions for.
I actually rate Donaldson from the bench too but now I'm just being argumentative haha

Wow. Thank you for your contribution to the debate. It's 'you're' by the wayWow your an idiot.
Would be a huge risk getting rid of Duffy for Holmes. As yet we don’t know whether Holmes is good enough for this league never mind capable of scoring regularly. If he wasn’t up to it that would put enormous pressure on young Brooksy. The 3 between them are adequate for now. Our probable small summer budget would be better spent elsewhere. Keep Duffy. SimpleWe need goals from Midfield. Holmes brings this. Whether he is good enough we will have to wait and see. Brooks certainly should be ahead of them both

Basham- not good technically at CH which is exactly why he needs replacing. His passing is awful and he is weak positionally. Hia enthusiasm and pace are hus assets.
Clarke and Sharp. I agree they are other aging. One has scored in 8 games from 30 starts the other 9 games in 25 starts.Do we need them both ?
Duffy- his ' killer balls' are becoming fewer and fewer.
As for Donaldson - yes you are being argumentative![]()

It goes without saying that we need to cash in on Brooks though, anything above £1m is a great deal. That's serious money.
