What team is this?

I really do not know some of the 'new' players very well. BUT is we assume we get our targets (O'Toole, Smith, McIndoe) and that we keep our starting back four, what the hell will our new team look like if we have to fit these guys in?

In ignorance here's my view:

- if we go 4-2-4 then is it Williamson and Smith in midfield with Macca, Hendo, Ward and Cotts up front?

- if we go 4-3-3 then do we put Monty in front of the back four with Williamson and Smith for company and just Macca, Hendo and Cotts up front.

Just trying to figure out where we are going. As we won't have these guys in Malta we won't get an answer this week. So, from you who seen these guys does any of the above make sense?

Darren Ward has bee released by Sunderland. But then he's too similar to Bennett, so why bother....

Other than that i cant think of any.

This won't necessarily go down too well with some, but Squinny has had his rest with the season being over. His rest should have been much earlier when, to many of us, he was crying out for a break.

Hopefully, the close season (what there is of it) might just have freshened him a bit.
