I got the letter too but I would like to make an enquiry about my attendance. Who at the club should I email to?

Alsorts of speculation going on now Silent , new investers ? ,Mccabe staying or going ?, Prince taking over ?, Prince selling up.?.
All scenario s possible intriguing situation. Anyone in the know ?.

I'd guess he'd buy the land buildings etc , and that's it.

Other than tax losses possibly being available I don't know. You need to ask McCabe.


The Prince isn't likely to want all those other shareholders asking questions so why would he buy it?

Other companies have been formed recently, apparently relating to specific property and other ventures currently on the SU Ltd balance sheet.

Presumably there will be answers given as to why these companies have been formed. Is it to ease the transfer of ownership process or is it to allow for only certain parts of the SU Ltd portfolio to be sold off?

Does anyone actually have a clue about what is happening?. There are so many different scenarios that it's starting to confuse me?. (Doesn't take much I know!!). Hopefully things will become clearer in the next few weeks!. Utb

It's only going to be interesting for as long as anyone has new and interesting things to say.
As soon as we get to pure and complete speculation (which most threads do very quickly) it will necessarily be devalued.
In this particular case, only McCabe and family know what's going on and the rest of us will have to wait until Saturday.
As an example, for all comments seen - only Sean Thornton seems to even have an idea of how the structure of the several Blades linked companies fit together.
That is the level of knowledge we are basing our comments on at the moment :(

I thought everyone would have been aware of that little 'issue' with S24SU after all this time - 1 part knowledge, 4 parts speculation (drivel to you) and 5 parts taking the piss! ;)

Still in the same place as when the statement was made.

We have two parties wishing to change the current ownership structure, both with differing views/intentions and haven't reached an agreement either way.

I'd imagine we'll be none the wiser until one party blinks or one shows their legal team is better than the other, if the conditions of the clause are sufficiently laid out. Hence my suggestion elsewhere that we may be waiting a while for significant change and/or investment, with certain parties becoming less and less patient with the situation.

I'd predict this being the content of the update to shareholders, unless of course one of the happenings in the previous paragraph has come to fruition.

It certainly isn't going to be Kevin McCabe telling everyone he's sold everything to the Prince and is on his way.

I hope while all this is going on, the two sides put on a show of common purpose for the interim. If they squabble, lose focus, or even withdraw funding, then we'll be in a lot of trouble. Surely it's in both their interests to keep the value of the club stable.
