He said it wasn't psychology and I tend to believe him, but just how much damage might he have done to our still-reasonable chances of a play-off spot?

Man City the "greatest team ever assembled" lost to Wigan do you think that means there season is over? Its what happens now that decides play offs. A lot made of the team selection and not sure why, Duffy can’t play every game and Hull are really shit, so why not use the squad.

At least he didn’t come out like Adkins - hailing a great performance. Fucking hell yeah you’ve won but quality players and performance, I don’t think so. Both teams were utter tripe tonight and Adkins came across as though he is just happy to be employed. For Wilder it cuts much deeper.

I think the top 6 is beyond this squad and he’s just challenged them to prove him wrong. Also a message to the new owner when it happens.

I have been critical of CW recently on his team selections, his use of substitutionsI, but that interview tonight was refreshing to hear, it proves, as if it was doubted that our manager his hurting. He has put a lot of trust in these players and they have let him down and I suspect he knows his players ain’t good enough for a top 6 finish... Shop a Lidle that what you get!
