Like the Leeds game, the result was the most important thing again tonight and I'm happy to win ugly to get the 3 points. Just wondered what the general consensus was on the following:-

1. Ricky Holmes - nowhere to be seen tonight. Was he injured or deliberately left out of the squad? I thought he was our best player at Wolves and hasn't had a sniff since. Defo a useful player to have when Duffy isn't at his A game which was the case tonight.

2. Is Wilder settling back to the early season team in the hope a good run will return? Similar team that played against Leeds ie. Clarke and Billy up top with Duffy in behind and Evans playing the Coutts role. I do think we need to look at replacing Duffy and Billy from time to time and I'm not convinced the team that started tonight is our best 11.

3. Lundstram done enough? Not sure if he quite deserved MOTM tonight as I thought the back 3 had a pretty great game. I still think the likes of Evans looks more assured on the ball and if Lundstram is to replace Fleck then he needs to drive on a bit more rather than look to pass it sideways or hoof it forward. Leonard looks disciplined to me and I know we seem to bring him on to shore things up but I wonder if he can do the Fleck role? His run and shot at the end shows he's got serious athleticism and I think he'll be one to watch.

4. Have we got any midfielders that can have a pop from a few yards out? Again doesn't look like anyone wants to shoot or has the ability to, at least Coutts chipped in with the odd few when he was fit.

5. We managed without him but we do miss Fleck!

I don't want the above to come across as negative, still think the lads did great tonight but we need to tweak a few things to have a real shot at the top 6. UTB

With Evans replacing coutts and fleck back on Friday, it quite simply is our best starting 11 because it wins games

Duffy might not have been at his best but he still had a hand in both goals. It's incredible how often he has a seemingly below par game but ends up creating goals anyway.
