Yes S2 will rival S10,11,17 as the most sought after postcodes, always look on the bright side when it comes to United,eh Len.

My mate on Long Line is itching to move his home and paddock down to a Cherry Street address. He's hoping to get in there before the rush starts. His brother, a single man, is hoping to get one of the apartments being renovated above the chip shop on Shoreham Street.

Similar, got family who live over in Cheshire, they can't wait to move into a new build on Shirecliffe.

Desperation from the poster formerly known as Len de Goey.

The Prince is going to move into the three bed show house when everything's flown out( saving money on the carpets and fittings so there's more to spend on players) Shrewd man.

Not something I understand much about but is there a possibility of the Prince 'doing a Glazer' and loading the club with a debt that's used to buy McCabe's half?

Not if you include its assets as collateral.
I'm no expert on this level of finance but that would be like getting a mortgage for 100% of the value of the property with no deposit. If you know where I can get one of those from, please let me know. (I'm being serious too).

I'm really worried about the Prince being the sole owner. I wasn't too bothered when he first came in despite the Saudi Governments human rights issues as the Prince makes and sells paper hygiene products.

Does the UN accept this mitigation of human rights atrocities? "Yes, m'Lord, it was genocide, but we produced three trucks of baby wipes, are we good?"
;)

I think you just tell them to fuck off, like Putin does.

How do you repay the loan?

It's a gamble so we get to the Prem loan repaid - we don't get to the prem good bye Shirecliffe the freehold for Bramall Lane the leasehold for the hotel and the enterprise centre. I'm hoping McCabe wouldn't allow this in the sale BTW.

Sell the properties with restrictive covenants, for example?

Depends what the restrictions are but most land and property can be used to secure a loan. The covenants would just either make the land harder to sell or not as valuable. I have been told that Bramall Lane had a noise abatement order placed on it after the Bruce Springstein gig (which may explain why the kop have been quiet lately)

Team hit a sticky patch struggling for wins if not performances, concerns over club ownership and what the future may hold...

After 18 months of redundancy he's suddenly a dog with two dicks again.

Particularly one where you don't make monthly payments for interest and capital and just wait and see. An impatient owner would just put the deeds on black or red.

I'm sure many people who lived through the 70's when the country was being held to ransom by the unions and subjected to regular blackouts, piles of rubbish left on streets, and the bodies of their loved ones put into refrigeration for weeks as the grave diggers and morticians had gone on strike again, would disagree with your opinion.
Just so long as they don' have kids in need of affordable housing, grandkids in need of good education, and they are still in good health themselves and don't need the NHS

Well the best way to protect BL and Shirecliffe, if you were KM, would be to sell them with restrictive covenants preventing use for anything other than what they're used for now. Which, as you say, would devalue them considerably.

Used for now? Stealing money from simple football fans, his co director and himself? How will that help?

I think under Championship FFP regulations he can’t.

The football club can lose £39M over a 3 year period but any losses over £5M per year must be converted into equity. I could be wrong but I think that is the FFP safeguard.

If he acquires the real estate I’m not sure what the rules are on loans against that but given they are substantial assets, someone else would buy them if he got into difficulties.

His investment vehicle is UTB LLC registered in the West Indies and we’ll never find out about any loan activity there. Given it’s his family trust I would doubt he would jeopardise that with loans to buy a football club.

Fingers crossed we’d be OK!

As usual, no one knows, some will panic, the moaners will moan, life goes on.
