It’s Leicester away

Shit draw not one of the big premiership clubs but still good enough to make our chances pretty slim. The fifth round draw has hardly done any of the smaller/non Prem clubs any favours, I think the next round will be full of teams from the premiership.
There are always surprise results and we might be one great draw and just an hour down M 1

Just had a look on their forum and I’ve got to say there’s not much point in us turning up.

To say they’re confident is a massive understatement. It actually hasn’t entered their tiny pea sized brains we might give them any sort of game.

I have never seen comments like lt. Complete and utter bellends . The talk is all about the permutations of who they might get after they’ve beaten us. It’s not even debatable.

Never have I seen such an overly arrogant set of cocks as on their site. They even run the piggies close.

Give it up Blades, it’s game over. There’s always the league.

I'm guessing this will be moved to Sunday dinner time on bt sports as Saturday there's egg chasing at there ground.
I think it's a good tie.
Could have been worse, wba away or wigan!!!

Was hoping for Notts County / Swansea Southampton or West Brom but im delighted with Leicester away as way draw went couldve been far worse. Like wednesday away 1st, chelsea away previous drawn out. Leicester put out 2 weakened sides puel doesnt care. Lets Get revenge for league cup Even get a draw & have them at lane in a replay. If ive got my facts correct thinm the last time we played same team in both competitions in same season was leeds 02/03. Which was a another omen of wembley as we made semis then & the last time both Sheffield clubs made 5th round 2013/14 we reached wembley

Really looking forward to wednesday getting knocked out by the manager they sacked last month

Like it. Leicester will go for it, so will we. Good to see Big H. Decent away trip too. UTB

Having looked at the fixtures again it will be these fixtures on TV:

Wigan v Man City
Millwall or Rochdale v Spurs (if they can beat Newport at home)
Pigs v Swansea (if they beat Notts county)
Huddersfield or B’ham v Man Utd
Then it could be a toss up between a couple of the other fixtures, including ours, especially if Notts County beat Swansea.

In short we could be televised here meaning some more dosh for the kitty.

All this is if they choose just the 5 fixtures for TV, if they choose 6 fixtures like the last round for TV then we will definitely be on.

Only two of our players who played in the league cup game earlier in the season will play in the FA Cup game. We will put up a better effort this time round, no two ways about it, I’m looking forward to this one as long as they don’t make it a shit kick off time.

They'll make it a shit kick off time because Leicester Tigers are at home on the Saturday. Apparently the plod of Leicester can't cope with egg chasers and football fans on the same day. Game being tipped to be a Friday night kick off by their fans. Seems to be the only logical alternative as we are at Home to QPR on the following Tuesday and then have Hull away on the following Friday in the televised game. 3 games in a week don't think we'll be putting the A team out for this game, mind you neither will they.

Hope it isnt Sunday because we play QPR on Tuesday and Hull on Friday

Very good point. Must be Friday night then. They're not going to have us play Sunday and Tuesday (v QPR).

As a result of your post I had a quick check of their forum. Let's just say they're pretty confident! Most of 'em genuinely already talking about a Wembley trip, and I don't mean for the semi-final.

They were saying the same before the League Cup game at the beginning of the season, they didn't get much further after us. Too be fair they are desperate to win the FA Cup having never won it before. They hold the record for the most defeats in a final , four. I suppose we get a bit over confident having won the trophy four times previously.

Shades of porktalk on their forum there is a resident pig trying to disguise himself as a Leicester fan. Apparently he lived here for a while and thought the Pigs were reasonable and we weren't, yeah of course he did.

Fleck is almost certain to be suspended for this game, leaving us with a midfield of Duffy, Lundstram and Basham and a defence including Heneghan!

Leicester have nothing to win or lose in the Prem and the Cup is their season so Vardy, Mahrez and Gray will be coming at our not so great squad players.

We need 3 good results before this - if we get them then we thank Leicester Tigers for the Friday night TV cash, play the kids and go for Top 6.

I wanted Coventry at home but I’m a realist. Our season probably now hangs on the next 11 days.

Magic Never Comes Easily

Let's see if Maguire can handle CD without dragging him all over the pitch, I'll wager he'll manhandle him all match and get away with it.

Leicester will definitely be up for this - the FA Cup is their only chance of silverware this season. And it will almost certainly be on Friday night. No wonder the FA Cup is dying a death - the fifth round draw stuck on the last ten minutes of The One Show FFS.

I hope we get this one out of the way without too much damage - injuries, suspensions, confidence-damaging result. It's not as if we're going to actually win the thing. The Championship is where it's at.

I don't mind the draw as much as some. True, it's not very winnable, and we're away from home, but it's still better than another Championship club though, home or away. We do have a lot of games coming up and as long as any loss doesn't knock our confidence (as it shouldn't), then we should hopefully just put in as good a performance as we can, and if we get anything it's a bonus.

Even though Leicester are a good side, If we were to really go for it and play a truly full strength side, I honestly think we would have a chance. I think our defence is stronger now than it has been at any time this season, and we have plenty of options up front. As it is, I expect a battling performance but most likely a comfortable win for Leicester, since this competition makes sense as the one they should be aiming to win this season.

At least Cov new ground isn't a soulless bowl like the Reebok/Macron shithole. I hate that place

We do Antique Fairs regularly at the Macron, but if I had my way we wouldn't bother. For a "new" ground it's already showing some signs of decay, and they seem to spend about 50p on maintaining it. Bogs are a disgrace and are still full of crap if there has been a game the day before.
