Both made themselves look like complete tits yesterday.

Hendrie being his usual twatty self and Jamie thinking he would try and become Maradona for the afternoon.

I think the second one on Ward was a bit harsh tbh, it did hit his arm but Dean had his card out so fast he nearly threw it at him.

Hendrie on the other hand is a very very over passionate person and I expected it of him tbh.
Halford was having a right go at dean as well after the final whistle.

If I were Lee Hendrie, when KB told me to go on at 85 minutes after watching Squinny and Howard all day (never mind all season) I'd have told him to fck off.

It was obvious they were both having yet another 'mare, why not change things with half an hour to go???? what was he hoping for they have both been mostly shit for weeks

Because blackwell's a tit. Time and Time again he changes things way too late on in the game.

If there is one thing i dont like about Blackwell its his lack of positive thinking from the bench. if a tactic isnt working then you change it asap in ordet o give yourself a chance! not wait till 10 mins to go!

:) same here, is he really that clueless? it was obvious to everyone that nothing was coming from midfield. Hendrie should have been on at least 15 mins before he actually got on

Dean couldn't wait to send him off and I thought it was very harsh at the time but after seeing the replays, he clearly sticks his arm out and takes it on his forearm. I hate to agree with that pr*ck of a referee but he was well within his rights to show a 2nd yellow

Just stupidity on Wards part, especially having been booked for the same thing a few minutes earlier - shame because he looked lively for the short time he was on

This thread reminds me of the time we were 3-0 down at home to Stoke last season and the tosspot waited until about the 75th minute to bring on another striker.

Hendrie should have been the 1st midfielder on the team sheet every week.

This alone shows how much Blackwell han't got a clue what he is doing when it comes to actual footballer.

Big boot - he's your man.

Monty is the first name down on my team sheet.

total respect to Hendrie after the match he and Morgan were the only ones to come across to behind the goal and thank us/throw shirts & boots to the fans. obviously the other players didnt feel the need to thank the 38k who paid to go and watch them.

might i had when ever Hendrie plays he always makes a point of coming across to the kop and applaud the fans.

I like Hendrie, I dont think he has been given a chance much this season to prove himself, but on the odd occassion he has come on and we have seen passion.

I think Hendrie should be given a bigger part in the side, he's the only midfielder (bar monty) that shows some passion.

I agree, he should be at least be given a chance KB used to say play well you keep your shirt, if not there is someone waiting for it, not exactly true that is it, he's got his favourites who get a game regardless of the their form

Since he had a chat with his dad and said publicly that his attitude had changed Hendrie has been like a different person. His attitude is now spot-on, and I for one would like to see him get in the starting line-up next season, ahead of Small Quinn.

I think Hendrie will be the first name on one of KB's lists. Just not the teamsheet.
