We got in the playoffs when at one point no one thought we would and said it was the worst united team in 50 years.

He came in and turned around a team destined for the basement, nearly getting us into the playoffs.

He then achieved the best we could possibly achieve without being promoted whilst having to sell "surplus" strikers and our best striker/leading goalscorer at christmas.

Another manager with his record in the championship and we'd have been happy.

Whats wrong with making a statement i.e The Kyles and Killa won't be leaving BDTBL for less than say £10million each.

Before we slate Mc CABE AND BLACKWELL, think of the alternatives people have short memorys, We have had several crooks running the club over the years along with tossers like Robson as manager.
We are light years above our local rivals, we are a solvent forward looking club,the envy of many.
Some of us visited the 4th division, thank fully that will never happen again with a chairman like Mc cabe. REMEMBER Brealey, Woolhouse, and in the 70s chairman Hassel. As i said some have very short memorys.

Am I missing something here? - cos in the world I live in we have just missed promotion on the last day of the season and been to Wembley to watch our team - We're not Newcastle, Charlton or God forbid, Luton Town.

Surely now is the time to think positively and build upon the success that so nearly took us back to the top flight - NOT to get wrapped up in Monday's disappointment and frustration and start chucking the teddy out like a bunch of spoilt kids who didn't get our own way - or Geordies

I always maintained we would end up in the play offs, because the league was that poor.

I don't think anyone ever stated it was the worst team for 50 years (I am happy to be proven wrong) I think they said it was the worst they had seen us play for 50 years.

Poor 'tactics' from Blackwell all the time.
