For no other reason than making it a talking point - I just hope it goes the right way.

It almost feels like our mini-season starts today. Steel City Derby done with, 6th, with everything to play for. Win today and hopefully pigs lose and it will feel like season back on track (yeah, yeah, mid table wouldn't be a disaster etc)

Lose and God forbid the pigs win, I will be struggling to see where the next win is coming from and those scruffy twats will be absolutely unbearable.

Obviously more to it than that, but it's how I'm feeling today

Come on Blades, let's get this season going again

Your right about the pigs.... They are already wanking themselves off over a 0-0 away at a 'pub team' and 2-0 home win against a league 2 team!
If they beat Cardiff luhukay is certain to be the next pep guardiola in there eyes...
thi gunna win’t league naar and’t lot

It's one of the few games of the season when I temporarily become one of Warnock's biggest fans ....

..... unless his team loses, in which case Colin can do one.

I think wendy will beat Cardiff today, also expect us to get a good result.

Noooooo

Well yes to us winning!
I really hope Colin does 'em, but I think Borat will continue with boreball and park the bus again....
I watched Cardiff v Sunderland on TV and Cardiff were dire in the first half, they picked up in the second half and with Sunderland down to 10 they had a comfortable win in the end. Just thought against a better team they would have lost.

The odds are stacked against the pigs vs any Warnock team. It's in his DNA to fuck them over.

Just seen Warnock's interview on SSN..I wish he'd leave it out,it's cringeworthy the way he goes on about Wendy.
Fancy us to win today...they did a job on us at the Lane but wasn't impressed by them, and watched them beat a poor Wendy team on Sky,but again they were the better of 2 poor teams.
As for a Sheffield double...United to win,and Wendy only have to draw 0-0 to claim a victory.

I hope you're right, we just have to win today or else we'll slide and I can't see us getting back, especially with this difficult string of fixtures coming up. Talking of fixtures today's Leeds V Millwall looks like a right kicking match

Watching Niuhu vs Sol Bamba will be akin to watching a Punch & Judy show. And about as intellectually demanding.

That's the way to do it.

I'm slightly concerned that it might be the wrong kind of Sheffield double today.

Pretty much every other side from Ipswich and above (in the table) has an easy fixture today - get a bad result and we could really find ourselves off the pace. But I've got faith, got a feeling this could be a turning point, I reckon we'll get a good win this afternoon.

And here's a (tenuous) stat for the optimists - only one team outside the top two has lost fewer games than us in their last 5 league fixtures.

It's better than that. Four new (quality?) players and Brooks on his way back - as good as a new signing!

Even in the relatively short post-Coutts era, there have been several false dawns.

'Wilder will get a reaction after this one' [Millwall, Preston]

'Play like that every week and we'll win 9 times out of 10' [Birmingham, Bristol City]

'Wilder won't let settle for less than a win' [Wednesday]

'We'll hammer these twats' [Bolton]

Every game is a fresh opportunity to get things back up and running and so far every time it's slipped through our fingers. We really need to get something soon because so far it has not been getting any better. Given our record away at Norwich, a win today would could be of vital importance.

Every game from here on in is a must win or at least musn't lose.

Norwich are 4-5-4 scored 14, conceded 14 in 13 games at home. I'm feeling either a 1-1 or a 2-1 either way. Hopefully their exertions against Chelsea have done 'em and it's ours. This is where we get back on track! :)

Going for a scrappy pigs draw with Sparks playing SIX at the back

It is weird how they change their tune to suit em.

First biggest attendances meant everything to them.....
Now that we are getting better support.....all of a sudden attendances are irrelevant....,now it’s all about revenue.

When Carloss arrived, it was all about playing beautiful entertaining football.
Now that we are playing a much more attractive and entertaining style and they’ve appointed a manager who plays dour football.
So now playing style is irrelevant........it’s all about the results.
Their fans are brainwashing themselves about the excitement and anticipation of numerous 1-0 wins.
You couldn’t make it up.

Cheating bastards, with that formation no wonder our record at their place is so poor.

It's no more cringeworthy than the number of threads on here about the pigs.
