Holding on for tomorrow
To while away the time before the derby, I decided to create this thread.

As we all know, for a long time we had a reputation for signing over the hill players, often ex-top flighters on their way down. And predictably, many of them were utterly dire. For every Paul McGrath, there are ten Phil Thompsons or Ian Rushes.

So, let's list all the good players who have donned the red and white in the twilight of their career. In addition to the aforementioned McGrath, I'll start with Stuart McCall. A vital part of our triple assault side, he signed when he was 38 and continued to bang them in until he was nearly 40. Clayton Donaldson looks as though he could go for years to come too if he can stay injury free.

With you all the way on Stuart Mc. Great player and gave everything for the team.

And to think Warnock played that useless pin toed bastard Mark Rankine in his place against Wolves at Wembley.
He made some shit decisions but that has to be one of the worst.

Craig and his brother Chris, also an ex-professional footballer now regularly row across the English channel for charity. I bet they do. *taps side of the nose & gives a knowing wink* Charlie hartfield enjoyed crossing the channel.
