just been looking at the Burnley site, and i cant believe how easy it will be to get tickets in their end end (if we do sell out) anyway from what i can make out they have reserved 22,000 tickets what they will sell at the ticket office for season ticket holders only.all there other tickets have been given to a third party ticket distributor ticket zone.co.uk just been on the site and you can buy them as of Tommorow without proving you have anything to do with burnley.and people say our ticket system is a farce! just wondering if they do send any tickets back whether we might get allocated some more?

Been long queues for ST holders as no system to split up applications like ours. For general sale, no need to have anything to do with Burnley, but have the joy of paying a £5-6 booking fee per ticket to the agent, plus extra for sending by registered post.

Think our system has been spot on in comparison.

From a burnley fan:
"Ticketzone are useless lol, so they expected to go through on general sale todayw ithout problems. I dunno about Sheff Utd havin problems, but the site for Burnley ticket allocations is down and the phone lines are super jammed. Looks like I'm watchin it in the pub or at home."

I can't find them for sale on the ticket zone

EDIT: because they sold out 3 hours ago

I've also read that they're immediately cancelling orders from people with Sheffield, Doncaster, Leeds or Wakefield post codes.

We sold all our general allocation tickets within 3 hours of them going on general sale. Sorry lads but we could have sold our allocation twice over. We won't be sending any of ours back. Maybe we will get some of yours!!!

Of course you will, think we'll only be able to muster about 7000 fans so a big team like you will way out number us.

I didn't realise that you'd all been saving your dole money for so long that you could afford tickets. Or have the three people in Burnley with jobs (two rat-catchers and a cheap prozzie) helped you out financially?

Another fan bragging about how many part-timers come out of the woodwork for a big game.

We had a Leeds fan on here doing this last week... I feel he has rather learnt a lesson: "going on other people's forums shouting your mouth off comes before a fall".

Don't know what burnley's average gate is but it makes you wonder where 37,000 are going to come from?
When we beat them at wembley will their amazing fans fill turf moor next year?, or will it just be the cold damp half empty ground we all know?

Don't bloody mention Wakefield to me hahahahaha.

Was wandering round at 3.30 round there this morning cause couldn't find hotel

Had to ring someone to take me home eventually

Thats only your general sale allocation though, is it not?
Just goes to show that if they sell better than your season ticket holders (despite you being allowed 3 per person), exactly how well supported you are...

...in the words of Borat: "NAAAAAAAT"

Well ST holders have until Monday to claim their allocation... and there's another lot of general sale for Burnley on Tuesday.

So "sold all the tickets" isn't necessarily correct. You have merely sold your first allocation of general sale tickets and reserved shit loads for season ticket holders which they might not necessarily buy.

EDIT:

Plus it seems some of your lads are just buying tickets to pop on ebay!

They should blacklist those tickets any thug could buy them, touts are scum.

Seconded!

Well, the announcement from the Lane means we've sold 27000 tickets without the need for general sale.

And Burnley have managed how many with general sale?
