With no money, how long does Wilder stay?

The fact we've been faffing around for months over a midfielder from Southend and Whiteman is apparently coming back off loan doesn't augur well.
And neither does the strange bank loan taken out and the board playing musical chairs which looks very much like a significant split between the owners.
If the people running the club can't get their act together, your managerial stock is high and ultimately another club comes along and says you'll get well treated and supported by us, why stay here?
Grunt, Grunt,Grunt!!!

If, as looks likely, there's no significant investment available, can't see Wilder staying that long.
We're at a crossroads, he's plainly ambitious, he's secured his legendary status here and very few would begrudge him leaving.
Maybe he'll work the ultimate managerial miracle on a shoestring but we're currently treading water.
It would be say to see him go but if he isn't going to get reasonable backing, he doesn't owe us - and particularly the board he's worked wonders for - anything.
Can we not leave such negative speculation to the media? All the positivity we feel at the lane and this is what gets proffered on here. No offence pal but WHY? 50 odd years a blade and not much equals what's going on currently and we need to be twelth man on and off the pitch.
Negativity never bred success. Patience and finding some joy in the journey might help more than the "We're at a Crossroads" claim. I think that's nonsense. Yer glass needs half filling pal. Chill,we have that lot next league game, can't wait mesen.
Now I would argue they are at a "Crossroads" and short of a Sat Nav with a shower of "Benny's"looking for one. I thought this was a site for Supporters;) So let's support.UTB

Just for some context, Wilder has never managed at this high of a level before; we plucked him from a fairly lowly League One team (no disrespect to Northampton); we're his boyhood club; and he's been here a whopping 18 months. I happen to think he's one of the best English managers out there and he deserves the chance to try his hand at the top level--if that's not with us, fair play and good luck to him. But that's in the future, not less than two years in to the job.

Whiff of bacon about this thread anyway.

Whiff , it reeks of it , pure pork

Wilder deserves proper support for his efforts.

Which is why he and Alan Knill have been given improved contracts ( money/investment).

Brooks ,Clarke and many others have also been given extended and improved contracts.

Total investment ? £ 2 million ?

People like to forget the wages and just look at the headline signing on fees.

Chicken feed in the context of Wilder actually decreasing wages last season and a very significant increase in matchday and tv income this season, allied to £7m coming in from Walker and Maguire.

Lend me 2 million quid then ? if I win the lottery I will pay you back.

If I don't you may be out of luck.

He doesn't seem to be aware the biggest and most significant increase in income will be the money for being in the Championship. Ir that the wage bill will be more than last season even if we don't sign anyone else. Generalisation rather than detail is his way. As you'll find out.

How much would you spend and who on? We're not taking Bannan and Rhodes off you lot as they are no better than what we have.

so . the with no money chris will be off brigade starting to look a bit out of sync with the present
every window out comes the same old diatribe

board wont put it in ,come the 31st Jan we will be sat with nobody and just broken fax excuses

a nice retraction would be welcome , just we got it wrong will do

Bump,a reminder what the Pig posted

No doubt the 4 signings all amount to chicken feed, and Wilder has still not been backed

He clearly has done well - IF we don’t sell any of the family silver it would appear he has been backed, best January window I can remember so far.
