Yeah I know, he isn't the same player but he performs a similar role. One thing I am sure about is that CW and AK will already have a plan for this, we will adapt our system accordingly and players will step up. Never been so confident of SUFC set up in my life and I doubt I will be again.

You are correct - he looked impressive the other night, but very young.

The midfield trio of Coutts, Fleck, and Duffy has been unbelievably good together. The important thing for me is that we're far more than any one player. Let's not forget that. It's playing as a team that's got us here and hopefully whoever comes in to fill the gap will continue to prove that.

I'm sure Wilder has a list of names on his wishlist. The downside in January, and for our league position, is the price tags go up. The upside is that we've banked money in the Summer and we must surely be a far more attractive proposition to the players we approach.

Fact is, we must be THE main target for prem loans to go to this Jan. We're playing superb attack minded football, we're going to be on the TV quite regularly the second half of the season as the media continue to spaff all over us and Wilder.

You can't replace Coutts. I'll stick my neck out now and get shit as a Lundstram hater, but I don't think he will do the job.He hasn't got the speed of thought or guile of Coutts, nor the ability to move two yards in any direction to gain space. He's more an up and down midfielder with purely forward vision. Come on John, make me eat my words and step up! Leonard may be close to what we need, but I predict this is going to be a torrid time where we will have to dig in for two months and hope we hang on.

When we got Carter Vickers there were a few Spurs fans saying they hoped Harry Winks would get get a similar move. Obviously he has gone on to show how good he is in the Premiership but there will be players out there we could hopefully tempt.
