Must have been the 1980s.

Probably the year they got promoted in 1991, but they eventually finished 3rd and were able to go up automatically in 3rd, as it was a one off season.

have to admit during the close season i wondered if us buying the better league 1 &2 players would come back to haunt us...
but so far Sir Chris has proved me and dare i say it a few of us wrong.
as supporters we want the marque signings, the ones that will put bums on seats, sell shirts etc.
the pigs have followed that mantra and look fuckin useless, we've gone about it our way, smashing it so far, and from the "view from"s are the envy of the league.

if we were 5th, but the pigs top (where we are, in case anyone missed it!) would it be quite so satisfying?
