3rd guy should probably go on Owlstalk today and read how many of their fans are saying "Forest are dog shit but United lost" this morning. He's seems unaware that Wednesday always praise the opposition when they've won because it makes them feel better about the win.

There are a few on there who sound exactly like Wednesday fans. The history lesson was the sort of bullshit they come out with. Mention our poor attendances in the 80s but not the fact Wednesday got equally poor gates in the 70s or the fact that Forest themselves averaged below 10,000 in the 70s.

Then say we haven't won many major honours when we've won more FA Cups then both them and Wednesday and won the title as many times as Forest.

Both great at spin it seems

Yeah,I've just read page 2 of that threat...I can remember when they were a nothing club before Clough,playing in front of 6k fans...There's quite a bit of arse licking Wendy on there amongst some more balanced reasonable comments...Watching it back on ifollow,we were unlucky... easily worth a point...had them penned in for long periods...Just couldn't create many chances,and 2 soft goals cost us...They could just sit back and hit us in the break at 2-1 up...that's how it goes some weeks...Move on,Ipswich next up.

Short memories, them dirty low life scabbing cunts. Nothing ever but Mickey Mouse nonentities until Clough & Taylor came on the scene. Even then when they were sweeping all before them, the crowds they got were embarrassing. That result Saturday reminded me of when we beat them at The Lane the year they got promoted from Div 2 under Clough & Taylor. Got battered but beat them 2-0. Sure Dennis Longhorn put Edwards through for one of the goals? Silent?

Didn't Cloughy have to appeal to their fans a few times to turn up and back them in better numbers a few times?...I'd like to see what numbers they would get spending 6 reasons in League One wilderness.
 
On the subject of Forest fans saying we were quiet and some of our own agreeing, here's a screenshot from Cardiacs' FB Group - if anyone is wearing Cardiacs apparel anywhere other than at a Cardiacs-related gig then they are forced by Alphabet Business Concern Law to share evidence and declare that you are "representing". That's me then, "representing" with my Cardiacs Big Flower woolly hat.

Anyway, there's a comment from a Cardiacs-loving Forest fan describing us as a "noisey (sic) bunch", so we'll hear no more about it, thanks.

Always find it funny how history goes back only a certain length of time depending on how well it suits.

I had a bloke at work fondly reminiscing about the 'boxing day massacre', then I realised he was born in 1979.

I'm 23, and I've known people my age bring up the league cup win in the early 90's. Thawot?

If we won the FA Cup in 1993, before I was born, we might as well have won the fucker in 1903 as far as I'd be concerned. I was fucking dead.

I tried to get rid of the duplicate screenshot in the S24SU Editing Suite but I failed miserably.
 
Fact... in May 2018,it will have been 50 years since Wednesday averaged 30000 per season,in this time they've been in the premier/division one 17 times to try and achieve it....
in the same period,we've achieved it twice,although only 10 seasons in prem/div1
surely this can't be true:cool:
