Cheers Panchero!

Let's face it lads, we won't win every game in this league, and we will make some mistakes, as we did today.

Forest were pacey, but we gifted them the goals, they know that. A mistake not to start Leon Clarke maybe?

They will be lucky to finish mid table.

Obviously we were louder than their wank support but I think they're right about our support being disappointing. Bit baffling really.

All shouted out after the games against the two bigger sides earlier in the week?

Maybe not just the players who were overtired.

Like wilder says we won't win every game. We've lost more than any team in top 12 but we've not drawn where others have failed to win. Win lose win lose gives an average of 1.5 points per game.

Today was a reality check. We were the better side in the first half but they worked us out and were the better team in the second. That said we should have grabbed a draw in that last 10 minutes.

Donaldson seemed to struggle with our style and pace of feet. He needs the kind of eye of a needle pass that he can run onto that Brooke's can deliver.

Fair play to forest they didn't do a Norwich and sit back with 11 behind the ball, they kept coming and kept finding unmarked players in our box, not good.

I don't think we have a great deal to worry about. I hate losing (probably because I've seen us lose too many games over the years!), but it's more than simply having faith in our management team, it's really about the squad Wilder's assembling. We've gone from strength to strength since Chris took control, we've got some genuine quality competing for places, and from all accounts we have some decent youngsters who might be making up the numbers in a few years (Ben Whiteman anyone?).

When it was confirmed that promotion had been achieved, a fair number of us said that we might lose a few games but that we'd probably do well in the Championship. It's all to do with the manner in which we lose, and from all accounts we acquitted ourselves well today,, we now have backbone and desire, so chins up, we're no longer the team of yesteryear, we compete and always try to win. That's something I lost hope of ever seeing in a Blades side, so well done Chris, Alan, and the players, we have regained our pride and now have a side worthy of it's supporters.

Cheers Roy, pretty surprised at how complimentary those are considering they really don't like us.

As for the moron at the end, a sad example of the minority of morons that every club has!

I liked the "first reality check" comment. All it showed us today are that we are already more than comfortable against established Championship clubs. 5 years in League One and we are already at the level of those who have been in this division for years.

To be fair, I did have a reality check today. I have very much enjoyed our recent run up to second, but deep down, didn't have the belief we could stay there. But after watching us dominate that game for 75 mins, playing some brilliant stuff, I'd now be disappointed if we don't make the play offs.

Just been on the Forest forum and they have a View From Blades fans. Our comments could be bouncing back and forth across each other's forums for weeks!
What if Roy now does a view from on the comments on their View from the Blades thread.

And then they react by doing another View from the Blades on our comments.

And on and on and on in a sort of View From inception.

Didn't think we were that quiet today. Get the impression some have slightly unrealistic expectations about support, and probably spend too much time watching Turkish and Eastern Europeans as a benchmark.

We must have played ok to get any compliments from Forest fans who to a man generally hate us, better to lose to a team at the lower end of the championship and take points from the pigs and Wolves who are expected to be up the top six. 6pts out of the last 9 isn't too shabby still averages at 2pts per game which will see us competing in the top half.

What are you on - the support today was brillaint throughout !

It certainly wasn't brilliant.

Brilliant support is chanting loud and often. We did neither.

It never seems too good when we go to Forest. Maybe it's something to do with that away end.

The very Gates of Hell themselves will be opened with that scenario.

Whilst I'm here, I always walk away feeling despondent when we lose, but back in the days of Adkins and Weir, and to a certain extent Cloughie, it would also leave me feeling depressed for days afterwards, whereas with this lot, half an hour after the final whistle and I'm cheered up because I know we always put a shift in and are ever improving.

Reality check.?...........Yeh that quality of this league ain't as good as we though it would be.

Always disliked the scabs. But I must admit the complimentary comments about us, almost made me blush.

Good comments overall from a set of fams who hate us.

I thought we were unusually quiet at times yesterday I must admit. There were a few occassions when it got going but it was far from great.

The players fully deserved the standing ovation they got at the end though. Couldn't fault the effort and application.

Ive not watched the game yet but I listened to it.

Didnt Forest just get 10 behind the ball and play us largely on the break?

That respect gives us a whole set of new problems and such as Wednesday cant cope with it to this day. I hope Leeds dont go at them today.
