Obviously that's factually correct, but we've only played ten games. There's no doubt that there's an abundance of character in this team and they're more than capable of winning after conceding first. What they did at the Piggery was analogous (and magnificently wonderful of course).

Verdict Nil-Nil with Forest not scoring first.
can't see a nil nil here Pinchy.. i reckon 0-2 to us

An unchanged team today with others players returning from injury, could see the strongest subs bench in years:-

Moore, Freeman, Stearman, Lundstram, Duffy, Sharp and Donaldson

No place in the 18 for the likes of Lafferty, Carruthers and Evans

All this striker talk, Clarke, Brooks, the Don but not Billy. Do we think he's now a bench player when everyone is fit ?

1 up front? Assuming it's same formation but simply Donaldson in for Clarke and Duffy for Brooks. CCV presumably in the middle of the back 3 as happened after the Wright substitution midweek.

Intriguing lineup, not a concerning one mind

Chris knows how to mix it up to good effect

Forest coming into this game with Brooksy at the forefront of their mind... only for him to be dropped and now they've gotta deal with the Don, a different formation and an overloaded midfield

1 up front?

Interesting that we go for 1 up front and a packed midfield against an out of form side. I think we're likely to see Lundstram finish the game and one of Fleck/ Coutts making way second half for Brooks.

It would've been easy to keep with Wright in the back three and Basham in Midfield, but its good to see that we're giving different players a chance.

Probably gives Brooks a bit of a rest ahead of going away with Wales.

Thats it give the Forest a chance, leave Clarke and Brooks on the bench.

Donaldson on his own,he's bound to do his hamstring again.:(

Lundstram go on then lead legs lets see what you can do.

Fuck knows why we've changed the starting 11 to pack the midfield, are we scared of Forest or summat.

How did you feel when you saw the line up last Sunday? I was nervous when I saw it.
Worked out reasonably well in the end.

I'm really not sure what he's doing here. Not sure about the back 3 without the calming influence of Wright or Stearman. Not sure about playing that midfield with just Clayton upfront. I don;t think Duffy can play the same role in terms of supporting the striker as Brooks. Needs players round him to work off.

Then again, I was highly dubious when I say the starting line-up last Sunday, so who knows.

Happy with that, as long as Clarke and Brooks get on for the last 20.

IMO brooks and Duffy are fairly interchangeable in terms of producing Things and brooks will get on at some point. We have to remember he’s only 20 so it’s sensible not to start him in every game

Pleased Donaldson is back for us As he has something extra up top and has the pace we’d miss without brooks

Lundstram is the interesting one. Must have been doing something right in training to force his way into the side. Which is obviously a positive - his appearances off the bench have been getting better imo.

We've played 3 games in just over a week, its obviously a case of keeping players fresh.

In Wilder we trust, its not as though its the first time he has thrown out a surprise like this. It usually pays off.

Trust in Wilder and knill!!!
Can see Brooks for Duffy, Clarke for Lundstrum later in the game.

He could also be giving Lundstram a start to get him more integrated into the team.

Preparation for when either Fleck or Coutts has to miss a game, which will happen soon

Leon on the bench !!!! WOW , well there's only one Chris Wilder !

Looks a good team to me and the bench gives us plenty of options, Sharpe,Clarke, brookes and Carruthers all excitng subs to come on and add something

Too soon for Freeman to make the match day squad then, but least he won't get hell of his dad for scoring against Forest. Sharp for last 20 - scoring against your old clubs is in vogue.

Not sure he will. International break coming up so plenty of time to rest after this. Wilder will want to keep the pressure up. And in his teams, if you have earned the shirt then you keep it.
Mmm well he did and he's dropped Clarke to the bench too which I wasn't expecting. Hope the Dons hamstring is properly recovered

When Clarke went off against Wolves, he went straight down the tunnel and then after the game Wilder said his hamstring was tight. He's done the right thing by resting him onto the bench, and i doubt Wilder would start the Don if he wasn't sure of his fitness.

This is just getting too easy now! Ha ha! Well done Lundstram! What a start!
