There was nothing safe about it, and I'm surprised it didn't cause more trouble. SYP were laughable in their policing today including the absolute shambles with the trams before (and after) kick off.

They realeased blades in groups and marched us up to the tram stop with lines of coppers and horses in front and behind us. At one point we didn't move for 15 minutes so I asked a copper what the hold up was, noticing the badge on his gear was Durham police, and he responds, They're just trying to work out a route for us to take. A copper a few down the line, from Nottinghamshire, then pipes up, we haven't got a clue either pal, the people above us are trying to work things out.
Well I'm fucking sorry SYP but you've had since the fucking fixtures came out to plan this fucking game and what you've produced is an absolute fucking shitshow of the highest order. I genuinely feel sorry for the coppers from around the country that have had to work for you today. Jesus wept.
