If you're going to kick the shit out of someone, do it to someone that really deserves it. Not a Norwich fan who called you a name, and who throws shit at people, really?

No, but then i never caused any to get banned.I wasnt even going to the game, I had a fight with a dickhead near the ground and had a ban imposed on me. Got a kicking from syp on BP forecourt, went to bring charges against a certain officer, but the cctv had dissapeared ! Got ban overturned a year later. Never had an issue with attending on a banning order, get tickets from a mate, its that easy !

Mate got banned after getting fed up of dodging coins in the family stand against the Pigs, and chucked one back best part of 10 years ago.

Hardly watched United and had never been to an England game at home or abroad. No record of football violence.

Forgot to hand his passport in before a friendly in the arse end of Europe, and got dragged from his mother's birthday celebration in Chesterfield to the nick on the night of the game.

Great use of resource.

Not be a problem for much longer mate. When we went to Wembley for the England game, security make you remove all bottle tops. I asked why and he says without a top the bottle is no longer a missile and it is coming to all league grounds imminently.

They used to do that at the Lane years ago.

Taking the top of your bottle isn't a new thing , I had the top taken off mine when I went to the Play Off Final in 1997. Never had it happen to me since (although I do very rarely take a bottle of pop into the ground with me).

These actions wouldn't have occurred if people weren't twats. So what if their keeper was acting up, time wasting, waving at his auntie?
Does that mean of a player scores a hat-trick against us he's fair game for the dickheads too?

The only cause of the violence and people throwing stuff was their own appalling lack of any standards of proper behaviour. They have no excuse for behaving like twats, other than just being twats. They deserve any punishment the law and subsequently the club dishes out.
Spot on. Norwich were a disgrace and pissed me off big time but I didn't feel the need to smack anyone or throw a bottle at someone because I'm not a fucking moron.

I once found myself sat next to someone who got removed by plod. He'd done nothing wrong but the CCTV had picked him out as a banning order recipient. Not sure how common that is.
Facial recognition ..... at a lot of grounds they do "lets put cutie pictures up on the big screen", Kids and their parents, lovie dovie couples

Just continually scanning the crowd with cameras straight to GCHQ ...............

I think it's taking the kids with me as they always take Coke or Pepsi with them, so it's more noticeable.

I'll stand correction.
But my reading of the SUFC Statement is that they have ALREADY handed out bans to two fans only CHARGED (let's call it suspected) of violence.
I can't agree with that.
I just can't.
Poor....

The club can ban who they want if they're satisfied with the evidence they have justifies it.

The police charge obviously has to follow the legal process.

Davalon I've got no real problem with the Club running their own investigation & banning people if they feel the available evidence warrants it. But, that's not what happened ..... according to the statement.

If they've banned people after reviewing the evidence & asking for their version of events, they need to say that.

Poor...

And, sorry, sorry, sorry, I missed that this had all been covered earlier in the thread. I plead guilty to "duplication".

Not saying it's right or wrong as I don't know who's been banned and what for.

Suppose its like a fight in a boozer. You might get arrested and charged, then get found not guilty.

The boozer will no doubt bar you straight away.

The main incident I witnessed on Saturday included one Norwich fan in particular acting like a twat and ultimately come off worse.

Their fans who came out looking to instigate stuff shouldn't get off scot free either.
