Don't like losing but we played well today. Unfortunate with injuries and had no luck in front of goal. We were excellent first half, but second half they had 9 and 10 men defending. Difficult to break down with tried and tested strikers, almost impossible with one not completely fit striker.
However we have another 7 days for strikers to get fit. We saw what a great player Brooks can be, and the players will be well up for it next Sunday. Sometimes if a team is doing well a loss brings them back to earth, even though that loss seems unfair. If I had to lose today or Sunday I would pick today every day of the week. Lets take it to the Pigs. COYRAWW. :)

Yeah, we played well, I thought.

Very similar to a lot of early season games last season I thought (with the big difference that we didn't go behind in those games). Lots of possession, lots of fluid passing football, & switching the ball from side to side. But very difficult creating clear-cut chances against sides resolved to defend in depth & with organization. They defended very well tbf.

Even when we lose these days, we lose in style.

Loving the journey. Next stop: The Sty.

Yes, I think I'll definitely buy into that theory. Good post and given me a good pick-me-up in time for Saturday night.
