I don't know why people don't seem to categorise 'hard work' as an attribute of a good player. You have 11 good players v 11 good players that run around more... it's obvious which team will win.

All the pressure is on them , there the home team , the so-called 'big hitters' more than happy to go there as under dogs with our bargain bucket squad ,should be a formality for them shouldn't it ? ... Hmm 4 other teams with 'superior ' championship proven' players have thought the same to date & got a rude awakening
 
The 2 teams on paper look a miss match but that doesn't always count for anything. It certainly wouldn't be embarrassing to lose to them with the amount of money they've spent alone, but if we beat them then it's a total embarrassment on their behalf. Should be a good game but just feel they will beat us and we will beat them at the lane.

I'll give 'em summat to fucking read.

Their ground is falling to bits, and the guy who's running the show's idea of improvements is to put some tarpaulin up, redesign the badge (at least the old one had some identity), make his own kit and get sponsors no fucker has heard of.

Forest rolled over and had their belly tickled. Yes, Wednesday have some very good players, but we have the teamwork ethic nailed down. If they underestimate us, we can do 'em.

I know some of us are dreading playing them, but I am looking forward to it.

I just hope the 'occasion' gets to them more than it does for us and we can execute two mercy killings this season and put the fuckers to sleep. I hope also it contributes toward a huge downturn in their fortunes, depleting morale, dressing room angst, feytin on their terraces between clappers and booers and a general destruction of the club, so it folds in like a giant, pulsing arsehole, pulling most of the district in. The pressure is all on them. I'm sure Carlos will try to play it down before the game similar to Robson saying it's only 3 points etc and we know how that ended.

We have momentum and playing with confidence, they're in for a big shock.
 
Have I missed something? This is a league game not a cup draw.

Years of begrudgingly accepting that we were in League One on merit, well now we're Championship on merit. And so are they.

They've got some quality players, better individuals than us in more than one position, and they've had money to burn assembling it. They're the favourites. But then they were the favourites in a certain play-off semi where their manager inexplicably decided that his team of expensive attacking players should avoid shooting like the plague. That's the kind of inconsistency and poor performance they're capable of irrespective of what quality they have across the squad. Why the fuck they'd think that can't happen in a a couple of week's time when it's happened to them already this season is anyone's guess.
 
I think some are doing our players a huge disservice saying the pigs have more quality, more expensive maybe but there is not one that I would swap for one of ours, well the keeper looks decent but otherwise they are not living up to their expensive price tags. I hate derbies and the thought that the pig scum might just beat us but happy to go as the underdog like we did in 92 when the were going to massacre us, we all know what happened that night.
No pressure for us, to the outsider and the deluded they are expected to win we have nowt to lose and nowt to fear, let the pig fans have the runs for the next two weeks.
 
I'm not saying we are going to hammer them or owt but if we would have played them pre wilder days and even last season I wouldn't be as optimistic as I am now

Not because they are rubbish but because this team surprises me constantly and is growing and even a defeat at the rust bucket would probably in the long term be a good thing when we look back and analyse the season

I'm not sure how much control the manager has there he certainly doesn't seem to be too involved in the transfers and surely can't give the team talks with the ammount of pinchyesque rambling he does

What are these nutters smoking, they cannot just hold their hands up and say the got it wrong. Going through every on of our games and teams saying the reason we won was luck it the other team are rubbish. I hope against hope we smash them all over the park in a couple of week.
 
Why are our own fans currently saying they're better than us? This statement is absolute bollocks!

You're only as good as your last game and as current form has it we have a better team, manager and fans than them no matter how much money has been spent.

To top it off, our club is a better ran club than theirs so it must be really killing them at the minute.
