Do have any idea how daft you come across as?

Agree he does come across as a bit simple at times, just try to ignore him.
JJ is just on the wind up loving the attention giving his ultra negative views.

What's your views of the events that happened yesterday
Bet you think the bid accepted for Cole was made up
And Sinclair was never going to join as that's made up too.
I reckon you think the Evil McCabe really wants us relegated.

Ok. Why did a deal fall through at the agent stage when the club allegedly accepted our offer ?
One reason and one reason only
MONEY !!!!!

No other reason for it when it comes to the agent
Have you read that article above?

The papers came through too late.
Of course, the delay on these deals comes about because of haggling over money. But you have to decide if you want the club to pay whatever is asked, without question?

The agents take it up the wire to screw the best deal, not the clubs.

JJ, come on, think about it.

Imagine if you paid £10 to get into a night club, then the 1st bouncer at the bottom of the stairs asks for £2.
He says it's his 'security fee', would you pay it? Then you get to the top of the steps and another bouncer demands a £2 security fee. Would you pay it again?

You values seem to be it's only £14 so let's pay it.
My values say it's advertised as £10 to get in the nightclub. If the bouncers want to play games then I'm leaving.

We could have paid the extra agents fees.....that's what the agent was relying on...he sensed we were desperate and thought he could take advantage and rake off some cream for himself.

But Wilder doesn't play games....he has values and morals....surely that's a positive.
If more managers acted like Wilder then agents would have less power and football would be healthier for it.

It's a positive whilstever we're managing and progressing. But there's only so far insisting the boots on your foot can take you.

I'm 100% behind Wilder on this, I should say.

Money? How very odd. A commodity that very rarely causes any problem, especially when other people are paying. I can spend that sort of money all day and all night. We all can. It's easy.

The deal was done, but Fleetwood missed the deadline by a few minutes and that was that, it is all in the fly-on-the-wall report which makes interesting reading

Exactly. There's a detailed, hour by hour first hand explanation of what happened and people still go off.

Nobody who is right in the head could possibly read that and place any blame on United, especially McCabe, or doubt the commitment of the club management to get the deals done. It also confirms that players, seldom the brightest individuals, can't put one foot in front of the other without asking a man who sees pound notes not people.

And it sounds like Andy Cole was trying to help get the deal done, and in the end, instead of potentially being in our squad facing Sunderland, young Devante will be facing Oldham. The kid must be gutted.

Yeah ok Mr Gullible
The offer might have been accepted by Fleetwood, but it broke down when the agent told us what he expected Cole to be paid.
If he keeps his form up he will get what he wants at another Championship club, won't matter to him having to wait another four months when a proper club comes along and pays him a proper wage

No it didn't. I'm not going to reveal how I know. But player had agreed terms.

Player was "in tears" and his father "went nuts" at Fleetwood for stopping to transfer.

Youve not got a fucking clue

I smell pork

Taken in isolation everybody in their right minds would say fucking agent they're cunts and they are , but with United things become a bit cloudier because we have history it goes back beyond the fax machine joke or game changing investment.
It difficult to know the truth. In this case and since wilder has arrived I go with the theory agents are cunts

No I wouldn't pay it
Maybe other clubs and managers don't act like ours, even those that once managed us don't seem to once they leave, so I think taking the moral high ground suits the club down to the ground

OMG I'm so upset,
A sure sign that you are easily wound up is calling somebody Pork

It's a sure sign of many other things as well, but let's not discuss those

No, Pedro's right, you're a completely miserable twat and a half. Your reason for being here is.....? Well it evades me, but maybe somewhere in the depths of "couldn't give a fucksville" there'll be something that explains why you behave like this. The fact that a few of us are saying the very same thing ought to tell you something...don't you think?

I'm staggered any deals ever get done with these naught, nasty agents...maybe we should ask Birmingham ?

Hey now FriethBlade, don't say things like that.
Some people don't like it when you point out the obvious. They are only left with the fact that they've been had..........Again

I was just wondering if being able to see and smell bullshit from a mile away you were generally a manic depressive, like me, apparently

You've insinuated my club, our club isn't a PROPER club. If you've got problems with the owners or the manager fair enough but never say we are not a proper club.

Fair enough CJX, The club in this context is the boardroom
I don't slag off players, even Hammond
I don't slag off managers, even Adkins
And I don't slag off our fans

Nice one, did think the pork accusation had merit after that quote.

Mrs Doyle: Well, it's not before time Father. I always thought you were one of the best priests in the country.
Father Ted: Thank you very much Mrs Doyle. One of the best? Or maybe the best? Hahaha, go on Mrs Doyle! Honestly, would you say I'm the best priest in the country at the moment?
Mrs Doyle: Well...
Father Ted: If you don't think I'm the best priest in the country, just say so. I honestly won't mind!
Mrs Doyle: I'd say you might be... the second best!
[Contrary to his previous statement, Father Ted looks very disappointed]
Mrs Doyle: I mean --
Father Ted: No, it's alright! I'm not the best priest in the country, I'm only the second best. There's somebody better than me, apparently.
Mrs Doyle: Well, Father, I was just thinking of those priests who work in very poor areas.
Father Ted: Oh yeah, of course, those lads! Father Archbishop Desmond Tutu and the likes!
Mrs Doyle: Well, I think Archbishop Tutu is a Protestant man!
[Both laugh]
Father Ted: Hahaha, oh right! Oh great! So a Protestant is better than me.
[Mrs Doyle tries to console Ted]
Father Ted: No, no no, there's no need to continue this, I'm not the best, I'm just the second best. Apparently the Golden Cleric is a runner-up prize. Well, I'm so sorry! Obviously I'm just an idiot! Obviously I can't even say Mass properly!
Mrs Doyle: Father, I was just --
Father Ted: NO! Don't take it back! THAT'S what you said! You said I wasn't the best priest in the country! That's fine! I just wanted to know where I stand. Obviously now I'm just going to have to jack it in.
Mrs Doyle: WHAT?!
Father Ted: I'm leaving the priesthood!
Mrs Doyle: BUT FATHER!
Father Ted
: NO! I am going to write a letter to Bishop Brennan asking for early retirement and maybe when I go, you can ask the other priest; "Father Peter Perfect, the Perfect Priest" to come here and you can work for him since he's obviously such a great priest!

And tha don't get Monty?

The Oldham Strike going on loan to Walsall fucked it all up didnt it?

So although he's not worth a million you would've been happy for us to pay whatever Fleetwood wanted, even though they had already turned down £1m?

Was he our main target though? Someone has mentioned on here that Wilder said Donaldson was the main target (I've no seen the interview).

'They've got goals in them'. Another generic attribute.
So seems like you were well wide of the mark about them turning down a mil and the sun journo was right all along.

Just imagine my shock.
