That article makes some people on this thread look very very silly.
I'm afraid some people on this board are very silly. Just look at that thread about "McCabe has to go". Not just the OP of that thread, but several others, were jumping on this bandwagon and blaming McCabe and the Prince, for not backing Wilder.
I responded on that post to say, "you are making the assumption that these deals didn't happen because of money" and pointed out that the reason they didn't go through was not entirely down to that. And this is before any of us saw that rather excellent Bleacher report. And no, I didn't have any inside knowledge, it's just common bloody sense. But not everyone has a lot of that do they? And some "fans" I think mean well, but they react like little children that have had a toy taken off them if things don't go as they like. They stamp their feet, and scream and shout, and want to lash out and blame someone for it. You can see who they are just by going back to the "McCabe has to go" thread. The sad thing is, it's not just about this one thing. The same folks will be back on here the first time we lose a match or play poorly or miss out on a player or sell a player, whatever. The moment something disturbs their delicate sense of equilibrium they will tilt at something or someone. It's totally petulant, ill thought through and rather entertaining at the same time.
