Couldn't make it on Saturday , was he any better , I know he wasn't on long but any signs of improvement

Is he the first Swedish player we've had or have I overlooked someone?

Came on for Carruthers when he got injured, and played a right centre midfield position...Didn't do to bad,but looks a bit awkward as he's all right foot it seems on the 15 minutes or so he was on.

Terrible mate gerrimselt bring in sum pace up frunt.

I thought he looked a lot sharper when he came on. Wilder put him further upfield in a direct replacement for Carruthers.

I think he will be ok,but it's going to take a bit of time. The speed and intensity of Wilders football has been a shock to a lot of the new arrivals and also to a lot of the players who were already here when he arrived.I think Lundstram is a good player, although a little languid, but i will only really judge him when or if he is up to speed.I have a gut feeling that he will be a good aquisition, eventually,he seemed to show signs of getting there on Saturday.

The guy sat at the side of me slagged him off every time he touched the ball apart from on one occasion when Lundstram did well to cut a pass out and the guy clapped. He obviously didn't realise which of our players it was though as he soon stopped, saying "oh it's him". o_O

Think Coutts under Adkins. Obviously had footballing ability but was a bit immobile and didn't close down etc. And not properly fit or motivated. Look at him now! I think CW will get Lundstram fitter, quicker and up to speed and he will end up being a really good player for us.

I would strongly disagree with that comment based on Tuesday Night. Very two footed player, sprayed some good long passes around the field with his left foot.

he did much better both against Leicester and Derby.

Good to hear mate,I'm just going on what i observed on Saturday,I'm not slagging the lad off,it's early days...but in particular the time he was down the right towards the Kop and ended up on the floor trying to block when he lost the ball..every touch on his right, when it would have been easier at one point to use his left, and looked awkward.

I'm no big fan of him, for me, at the moment, including Evens hes a waste of money. But hoping they will make me eat humble pie. What he kept doing for ninety mins though, was he kept at it, and kept trying. Samir went missing most of the second half, I hardly noticed him,but I did notice Lundstram.

Wilder has said recently that we are all about bringing in players who can be coached & improved. He's one of those.

Thought he was really good on Saturday, had a positive influence. As was the case with both the other subs. A real 14-man performance.

hes 24, hes not going to be a lot better no matter who coaches him. He was brought in for direct competition for coutts. Coutts is championship quality. Lundstrom is a league one player at the moment. He has quite a bit to go to compete with coutts. He cost Half a million pounds. Don't let spin from the Manager or Alan Knill kid you. I hope he does improve enough in the near future.

You really don't think that players can improve after the age of 24?

Pretty sure it was his assist for the 3rd goal, an excellently weighted ball with his left foot. It was that good he even managed to keep in play, unlike most of the other players who seemingly cannot knock a ball down the wing without the linesman having to dodge out the way as it goes out for a throw in.

Work in progress, on a general improvement curve.

Will be interesting to see how / how far he can develop with us.
