Outgoing? JOC

There are not many things that anger me in this world, more than these so called 'football news websites'.

Whoever writes these, in this instance, Lee Connor, are almost always talking out of their arse and have no understanding of the clubs involved. Might as well be a bot.

Their Biog, will say something like. "Lee studies journalism. When he's not writing about football, he likes to write about how to perfect his golf swing and six reasons to stay in bed on a Sunday.'

Not having a go at OP, but there should be a rule in place where no rumours can be posted from a site that has 'football' in their name.

 
Who in their right mind would even think of clicking on a so called football site with tavern as part of its name? Get all you deserve fella.

I think the twat might even be a Blade as well. He's written plenty about us before. If so, what the fuck is he playing at?

For some reason, the garbage they're free to write on there gets decent publicity. It appears on the newsnow feed for example.

Some clown writes some opinion of his based on not a lot, and we react to it?

Let's just laugh it off?, and be pleased that after years of cloggers and tryers we have a few players finally being recognised as good footballers. I'm sure all of the squad are more than happy where they are right now, and will have little desire to be pushing through a move to the media darlings (recent premier league sides) and endure painful, dull, tedious football under a washed up "has-been" manager! (Insert one of many names here)

At least for now anyway.....

Club on the up, great team ethic and that personifies what football should really be about....versus club sold its soul and trying to crookedly buy their way to more money? The true footballers with the right reasons for being in the game will always choose the first option.
There's more to life than money and thankfully enough still believe that.

We don't react to the article Gb we react to the possibility!

It is not beyond the imagination managers will be looking at the likes of JOC, he's done remarkably well in a short period. We will still be seen as a soft touch based on our inability to either hang onto our better players or to let them go for a song only for the buyers to cash in after a couple of seasons.
 

The great thing about these bollocks rumours is that they give us a great chance to take yet another agenda-fuelled sideswipe at the club (a pretty good one right now) we claim to support and recycle the fax machine joke.

We must never, ever miss such an opportunity. It's fresh every time.

Which players have we been a soft touch over this season?
This is the issue with comments like this. Yes we have sold players in the past. Yes we have also sold them too cheaply.
But for me you have to treat EVERY season differently, as things change so quickly. This season we got around £6m in sell on fees for example. Things are going well. The manager has so far used his budget well.
This time next year things might be different. We may need to sell a player to invest in the side to move forwards....thats football done properly, but the club will be castigated for it.

We may see a bid for Brooks come in which simply cannot be ignored. £5m waved under the clubs nose after decades of losing millions might be too much to ignore....the prospect of making an actual profit might mean that the owners are able to find investors prepared to gamble their money on it becoming a regular thing.

Some of us need to start lookin outside the box if you ask me.

The key is in the words "we will still be seen" as it implies we are no longer.

Couple of Blades on there have called him out. Probably some kid trying to play at being a sports reporter. Takes random players and associates them with other random clubs and tries to write a fancy article around it.

One day he may become a proper journalist working for an outfit like the Stir, scouring the forums or hounding the police on facebook for snippets about traffic accidents.

Is your only response to posters you dislike to cast them as gay? What next, racist comments? And don't overestimate your posts, all they amount to is a disappointment in our education system.
