Just a reflection on what could have been... Obviously, even if Utd hadn't sold the likes of Walker etc. then Fleck etc. probably wouldn't be here, but oh man, what a team this would be:

The only way we would still have some of them players is if we had never been relegated from the PL in 2007 because whilst you're out of the PL then it's a fact that the really impressive players that are too good for the Championship will always be sold. Little Burnley have just bought Woods from Leeds, I'm sure that they were desperate to keep him but financially LU have no chance to compete with little Burnley.

However if we'd have had a continuous stretch of 10 years in the PL
Our current team would be far better than the one given in the opening post.
Half of those players mentioned above wouldn't get near a starting place in the PL.
