Or is it far too silly for a side currently seventh in the table to even contemplate sacking a manager who recently signed a new contract?

If we were in the relegation fight then I could see the logic in getting rid, but now? Ridiculous.

Absolutely rubbish we were, we played so poor it was embarrassing. Did not look like getting a point, we looked like a league two side and I am not kidding. Talking to a couple of Swansea fans after the game they said we were the worst team to visit them, trust me we were that poor.
It was down to Morgan to earn us a point. These performances cannot continue, we need to go out and try to win games. If we play like that against Palace and Wolves there will only be one result.
Blackwell needs to get a grip with his tactics otherwise 7th in the league will quickly become 10th then 12th.
New players have to arrive in January, as United are at present just an average championship side and being managed by an average manager.
It is no use Blackwell talking about new players and saying we are looking at several players he needs to make sure these players are secured. If we go on a good run it is of no use Blackwell saying I am pleased with the team and therefore don’t need fresh blood.
Make no mistake about it, we at present are playing terrible football and drastic action needs to be taken by the manager. Time is running out for us, we have already thrown away automatic promotion and pretty soon the play offs will seem like just a pipe dream.
Sort it out Blackwell and start serving up football that we the fans would want to watch and get these players in otherwise it will be another season in this division and I fear you will not survive that as manager.

I have a horrible we are going to fall into mid-table mediocracy for the next couple of the years but I dont think it can be entirely Blackwell's fault so should at least get till the end of the season. If we dont not finish above 9th (last years position) then you can say we must be getting worse rather than better especially considering the utter joke we had in charge at the start of the season.
I agree with keenzy we should go all out for the win against every team, not be scared and hope for a point. We should not be scared of any of these teams, I dont think it would take much to make us from a reasonable team to decent team pushing for promotion. If we tweak just a few little things like telling Beattie to get his finger out of his arse rather than just letting him get away with disappearing for huge chunks of matches and only scoring clear-cut goalscoring opportunities and set pieces. If we get our midfield to run at the oppositions defences and wipping crosses into committed players in the box we are much more likely to score goals...
Yes we may be left a bit more open at the back but we have a reasonably fit team so should be able to get back and defend, rather than darting about in the midfield trying to get the ball back off our opponents and getting worn down such as against swansea...

Bit confused here. I wasn't there. But looking "a little further"....should we panic yet?

Yes it's not good at the moment but we are still well placed to push on.

Perhaps though I know nothing about football.

OK..i can't be arsed to list all the ones that could be worse over the last 10 years.

An away draw where only Brum have won this year must be right! Although we all accept we aren't very good at the moment....but 10 Years??

Wasn't the worst in the last 10 years by far but it was a crap performance.

We never looked attacking in the first half. 2nd half they were bound to have more possession as all they did was pass it around and made the ball do the running.... easy to do along the back 4 when you have 1 man closing you down.

I think we can all agree that things are not well at BDTBL at the moment. Worst in 10 years, well I wasnt there, but I seriously doubt that it wa the worst in 10 years.

That said I am struggling to find anything positive about United at the moment and although I think we are 90% 'there', it's really hard to put ones finger on where the 10% that is missing actually is. Players need to accept some responsibility as well as the manager, he doesnt tell them to go out and be rubbish( well at least I dont think he does).

What I do know for a fact that there is no enjoyment in watching a team we all believe should be doing a lot better struggle week in week out.

Am I going on Saturday, well no, but only because it has been rescheduled for a late kick off on the Saturday before christmas and I have already booked and paid to go to an event starting at 7. Thanks Sky!!!

I think some people want to see the black and white whereas others cam see things in shades of grey.

I wouldn't say that we are shit, our league position should be testament to that, but it's fair to say that we played shit in a style that is worrying on Saturday.

Just like some people can't accept that players can play well one week and play badly the next... even have spells in a game where they play well or not. They are either shit or world beaters.

I think the main issue is the way some people come across when they're having a whinge. They try and dress what they're saying up in hyperbole to emphasis their point but the very act of doing so risks their valid points being lost in somewhat ridiculous statements.
