If that's true I hope he's worth it

Would liked to have seen that sort of money gone towards a striker
That money would only buy a L1/2 striker, as CW said prices and wages have gone through the roof in the past week let alone since we were in his league.

Can't see our owners having the funds or the bottle to compete, more bothered about recouping past loses.

Tufty will have to do it on a shoe string with McCabe sayin ' well uddersfield did it'

Can he play holding midfield? Or is he purely a central defender?

I agree that's why I said towards a striker

I feel at this moment in time a decent striker may be more important

I think we will be in for a striker on loan that we probably couldn't afford to buy.
That's based on nothing but hope though.

I'm interested to know what this guy brings to the team that Basham, Stearman and JO'C don't bring.

100% agree 58 but unless he can offload Hanson I think he will have to make do. No way will all of the sell on income go on players IMO. Jam tomorra, 'if' we get investors we will invest in January, what happened to as soon as we get promoted BRP will put money in, yehhhh

Bitter

Part of me thinks that if we get this one over the line, the Leonard saga will be left to January to try and get him cheaper.

So Uncle Kev is now also to blame for spending too much brass (&) in the wrong position !?!?!
I also witnessed Yorkshire capitulate to Essex ( Leonard took 10 wickets?) <2 days AND Guam likely to be vaporised afore the days out
McCabe you cunt!

I heard that Guam got its name purely because it refused to pay the extra for a "c" to replace the "m"

I just wonder how it's possible to recoup past losses from current losses.

Or are we in profit these days?

You may have read this elsewhere but it is just as relevant on this thread too.

A strong bid for Coady might help Blackburn and Southend make up their minds about our bids as they both lose out on their sale if Chris is looking to shop elsewhere. Having competition can swing both ways in negotiations. Well done Chris

Can I be the next to say, fuck them both and I want Coady
