When you see that photo angle of the Kop it's seems years ago .. feeling old now lol .. I always remember the Norwich match ( think it was them ? ) when they had took the roof off in readiness for redevelopment .. that was bloody weird .. thankfully it was a hot sunny day as I recall ???

That's still how I picture the Lane in my mind. It seemed bigger then than it does now and eventually I realised it was perspective. The low roof on John Street made BL and the New Stand look much bigger (viewed from the Kop).
