Why £2m ? Bristol City have just spent £5m on a striker with average crowds way below ours. However I can understand that we shouldn't really be expected to compete with the likes of Bristol City in the transfer market !

Either way we clearly aren't competiting with Bristol whether we should or we shouldn't.

Last season he didn't play much.

As for Campbell, he's won promotion to the PL, not that you should judge individuals on such honours. Not scoring 30 in a season might have something to do with being in the PL for the best part of the last 9 years.

To me the clamour for an injection of pace is not having a go at the current squad but merely pointing to an obvious gap in the current side.

We genuinely don't have any really quick players in any area of the pitch - it's not blastfamy to suggest we could do with some pace as an additional weapon.

To me it's something that could be addressed with an astute loan signing or two in attack or defence (we are going to be up against some quick players next year.)

That's what I'd be looking to add anyway - even if t doesn't come cheap.

Last season made 29 appeareances (starts and subs and in cups) scored 1 goal. He only out scored Jake Wright in our team.

Let's try again then everyone, strikers with records better than our current strikers. Who have pace who fit in our budget.

You keep mentioning records, did Tammy Abraham have a proven record before his move to Bristol City? he didn't do too shabby did he.

Yes stats have some indication on how they may do but it's not the be all, end all. Blackman struggled at Derby but did pretty well at Reading the season previous in the same league. Sometimes moves don't work out for whatever reason it doesn't mean he is no longer able to cut it at that level.

Name me a premiership side who'll want an unproven striker (in England, at all) on loan?

We've got 6 and a half mil in sell on fees alone this window. Strikers cost money.

I think for Dicko you're looking around £3mil. That's an average fee for a championship striker nowadays.

Just scrolling down twitter, Wolves fans are very 'meh' about Dicko. Certainly not as made up on him as you make out. And with some of the strikers they're linked with who can blame them.
