After taking in about 10 matches last season decided to get my first season ticket for about 40 years. Just got me wondering which forum season ticket holder travels the furthest to BDTBL. Also which s24su member lives furthest from Bramall Lane. I'm about 1.2 miles away so don't think I'll win any prizes!

By the way I'm a avid reader on the forum but don't post.

I now live in High Wycombe (or near it) I go to lots of away games, a few home games. Back in the old days I was an 'every game guy'. Now I often have to work weekends or for spells abroad so a season ticket isn't an option sadly.

170 miles away.

I was a season ticket holder from 170 miles away in our Prem season, only way to be sure of a seat, but I suspect some of the guys I know in Southampton, Pembrokeshire and the south west can beat that. In the prem I went to many matches where i'd fly into heathrow from Houston, Trinidad, Australia and others and be bundled into a car and driven up to the game half knackered. I had a co operative employer. Tuesday night games and daft kick off times are always difficult as there's sod all public transport at those times.

Hastings, 250 miles away but still have family in Sheff - get to 2 or 3 home games, but as many as I can darn Sarf

I had just short of 11 years in Maidenhead and although I gave up my season ticket when I moved there as part of the deal to get my wife to move, I made an increasing number of games in the first 2 years and had it back for the 3rd season.

Better seats as well because we were doing crap :)

168 miles each way according to google maps.

Missed one game due to traffic problems on the M1 and did a fair few extra miles supporting a strange hitch hiker with initiative.

One of my mates lives in Munich and he's a S/T holder. He's not on this forum though.
DKC - That's impressive - I reckon that is about 900 miles don't think that will get beaten for Season Ticket holder unless someone on here knows otherwise.

Hi YorkBlade, I live near Bicester. I have a season ticket and go to most home games, if you are interested in sharing a ride when you are able to go to BDTBL, let me know.

I could have done with you when I was cruising the M40 from Maidenhead ;)

I and various others have been driving on the M40 or going through on the train to united games hundreds of times for several decades, last season we met up several times near Leamington then shared a car to the game from there. Drop me a line sometime.
