Here's the place for all your Plymouth match chatter...

Win for the Blades........lots of goals.

Blackie........get Killa in the team !

The goals will come this week. Think Blackie will revert back to a 442 with howard suspended, at least 3 for us, BT to get one, stokes to finally score too

Team:
Kenny, Morgan, Stokes, Beattie, Webber, Sun, Speed, Spring, Quinn, Naughton, Ehiogu. Subs: Halford, Kilgallon, Montgomery, Dyer, Sharp.

wooo :)

Good result.

A number of positives today and gotta say, despite all the criticism Danny Webber has been getting, he had a good game today!

Easy three points this one BT to get back to goalscoring form.(wonder what the odds are for a BT hat-trick?)

Ooo... very nearly :D

I think we will lose this one, wont be able to score I'm goin for 1-0 Plymouth

Pessimist :D

All in all, very well done.

SJH at the end was absolutely class and Ugo is a rock at the back.

Officials were bobar.

MOTM poll coming up shortly..

SJH was taking the piss near the end, he is absolute class when he wants to be :)

Oh yeah, he had the biggest smile on his face :D

As did Beattie when Naughton's cross hit him on the back of the head.

Plymouth's heads went down straight after the penalty and we played some lovely stuff at times. Spring really loves those "Hollywood ball" doesn't he?

Big praise for the following from me today.....

Ugu, Sun, Kyle, Spring, Webber and Beattie!

I thought they all played very well.

:)

Must have been watching different games, pal. I personally thought he was poor apart from his goals. But that says it all I suppose.

Think we can play much better in all honesty. But I like the fact we aren't playing that well but still grinding out results. Harsh penalty, harsh free kick but we punished them. They were probably the poorest team this season to come to the lane.

Another clean sheet though, well played.

He worked hard off the ball too though, numerous times he was covering for Kyle Naughton when we lost the ball.

Wasn't a superstar performance, but he scored 2, worked hard and put some good passes in.

He can be "poor" every week for me if he does that ;)

Apart from tracking back to right back on many occasions.......but most people don't notice.

One of the reasons Kyle has the opportunity to run forward is that someone has to be willing to cover and today both Webber and Beattie did it at times.

Different games watched? Maybe.

Harsh penalty, harsh free kick but we punished them. .
What do they have to do then for it not to be harsh? He clearly hacked him down for the free kick and knocked him down for the penalty!

Have to punch them and kick em when there down for a free kick not to be harsh?

He does come back in defence well, but it's just his look of disinterest at times.

Bit of an oxymoron that one?

If he was disinterested, why would he bother covering for right back when he's supposed to be a centre forward?

Sun Jihai looks calm and composed constantly, doesn't mean he just wanders about the pitch not bothered.

Sun my MOM............can't be arsed BT, but for me he can be can't be arsed all he likes if he scores 2 goals a game !

Well the penalty was a good old fashioned shoulder charge from my angle. And I thought Stokes took a tumble for the free kick.

He looked interested to me today......2 goals, tracking back....what more do you want?

An hat trick :D

I just think sometimes when the ball gets played to him, he expects it straight on his toe, just think he needs to want it more. But credit for his goals and hid defensive work, not seen a forward do that in ages.

Need to watch him more carefully then, because he does it most matches despite many thinking he's lazy. He cleared the ball off the line the other week!
