I'll start..

Chris Hussey, garbage first few games, not seen since. Good egg.

Good look to the lad.

Some might laugh but in the formation of wingbacks that we used, I think Hussey might not have been bad at all. He could certainly get up and down the line and deliver a better ball than Lafferty but as I say each to their own and i suppose it didn't end up too bad did it! :)

God no.....ok Lafferty can ge hit and miss with his delivery but Hussey was dog awful....you obviously didn't see the Oxford home game when he was so poor he was subbed at half time. Shocking player.

I know the consensus on here was to say how awful he was because of that and one other bad game but I personally thought that with a run of games in a more confident side who were gelled, he'd have been more than sufficient. Again, I won't dwell on it as it all ended well but I was just responding to a post regarding him on the thread. All's well in the Blades camp though and good luck to the lad. ;)

George Long, met the lad and he didn't tell me to fuck off and die so I summarise that he's a lovely lad.

Good luck to the lad.

Also saw McNulty in a bar and he didn't have any swastikas tattooed anywhere visible, so again, great guy.

Good look to the lad.

Same with Dean Hammond. Spoke to him a couple of days before he was hounded out. Said how much he thought about Sheffield United. Wished him well as he trotted off to the Bank. Great guy....good luck to the lad.

Our best regards must go to Diego de Juve. After suffering years of being overlooked by United when he was good enough to play in Serie A, our best talent for decades, against all odds, finally got his just rewards when he turned out for Cheltenham Town last season. GLTTL.

Joe "Chief" ironside.

Going strong at Kidderminster, England C call up.

Only young, look at Jamie Vardy.

Who knows....

Good luck to the lad.

Jordan Slew, who having just signed a new contract unexpectedly found himself 'halfway over the Pennines' setting himself to join Blackburn Rovers. Copped us a million quid and was part of the downfall of blackburn appearing just twice as a substitute coming on in the 82nd and 89th minutes, I'd love to know how much he cost them per minute! Last seen with league 2 Plymouth and still only 24, cheers fella!

You forgot 'good luck to the lad'

Lee Baxter, humiliated by Sheffield United during the 2003 season having made only a single 45 min appearance.

Went on to have a successful career and is now a revered coach at Aarhus in Denmark.

Good luck to the lad.

Phil jagielka.

Left after a disastrous hand ball, went on to be a prem regular, and captain of (the shitest since the eighties) England team.

Chosen not to take the quick cash, at villa, or the pigs, but take a wage cut and a future career as a coach at an excellent academy.

You heard it hear first.

After all, anyone can say anything and I reckon I'm as "ITK" as any of your cunts.

But probably not.

Good luck to the lad.

I remember thatChris Hussey had a nightmare game against Southend at home which probably did for him in CW's eyes. He was caught out, several times being further up-field that the player he was supposed to be marking as a full back in a back 4. In my opinion, he was rightly dropped and replaced quickly.

Ironically we changed formation soon after that to a back 3 and pushed Lafferty further forward as a wing-back. This role would have suited Chris better as he was really good at making strong runs forward and put in some really good crosses. If only we had someone big enough (like Hanson) then to benefit from them.
