Wilder gives a deadline of end of week.
Can Rug Ron hold his nerve for a few more days.
As I suspectedHa ha, sorry - just read the earlier posts. Think we're probably on the same side![]()
Who is this Leonard of Ryan of which you speak.
I'd be more worried if could hold onto his rug, it's fucking windy today.
Only because most of us on here are useless at photo-shopping!Ever noticed how Ron and Donald Trump are never seen in the same picture at the same time?
Just like Eric Taylor did when he tried to sign Ron Springett in 1958. The story went like this
Ron was met at the Midland Station by Eric Taylor, than taken up Ecclesall Road, and round Ringinglow before dropping down to Hillsborough. When he came up for his first match at Hillsborough he got a taxi outside the station, which took him down The Wicker and through Firvale etc, to Hillsborough, and if he'd gone that way the first time he came up to Sheffield, he'd never have signed for them!
Fucking hell that Gorilla glue does a great job.Local reports suggest Ron is indeed struggling with his Rug in today's tempest, but is feeling all the more presidential for it.

As a long time Southend supporter I've had the opportunity to speak to Ron now and again. I mentioned some of the ultra cruel comments about his hair and he asked me to pass on one of his e-cards to the crueller ones amongst you. You may have received one before.

Somehow I think that card is incomplete......at the end, after 'again'. it should read.....(to be followed by)"until you find a luxury rug, and then, and only then you rascal, return it to me!"As a long time Southend supporter I've had the opportunity to speak to Ron now and again. Would be wise not to, Ronny is a bit 'ard when he's got the hump. £750k should soften his hurt feelings.Woah there! That e-card is seriously edgy.
I think it's safe to say that no one is going to make fun of your chairman's hideous toupée now.

I'm quite good at food shoppingOnly because most of us on here are useless at photo-shopping!![]()
Maybe it was you who sent it to him in the first place? It's funny how these things go round and round on social media and eventually end up where they didn't start from. Ron was never quick at grasping this sort of thing though so I will let him know it's not as original as he thought. Thanks for the heads up. He doesn't do ads I'm afraid.I appreciate your contributions to this forum, but if you were to use the search function you would find this e card had been wandering around for many years and indeed I have it saved in my downloads from when I used it (unoriginally) three years ago. I have nothing against RugRon but it would be appreciated if he would come on and do an ad for us.

Will do. Ron does like to banter with the fans pre season. He doesn't tend to say anything once the first whistle has blown though. No probs. I wouldn't presume to send such a missive except to a referee or Cerberus Blade. Whilst you're at it tell him he's on the right track and the catering is pretty good. Love X
Thats the way of the world but unfortunately many of our fans fail to grasp this conceptOn a more serious rumour note, it appears we are close to three, possibly four new signings before the squad pops of to Spain for pre season training. If these signings happen then it would not surprise me if a deal for Lenny provides some of the wages.

Might trigger Lennys move to us?
Can I ask why you think signing a left back who could play left midfield might trigger it?
The last sentence?
Hendrie has been bought in to provide competition at LB. Ben Coker, our current LB, does have an injury history, as does Steven McLaughlin, the bloke that plays in front of him. He's definitely not a Lenny replacement.http://www.echo-news.co.uk/sport/15378418.Shrimpers_close_in_on_Hendrie/?ref=rss
