Feb 14th 1959. Div 2 v Div 1. Drew 2-2 away at Arsenal. There was a big clock at Highbury and we watched it most of the second half; lesson in life at 10 years old, time in a game passes so slowly when you are winning! First trip to London, big game. won replay in front of 49000, missed that, too late I guess. Drew with Norwich in 6th Round, 57000 crowd, great day, thousands of Canary fans in full voice "On the ball City". Lost 3-2 in replay.
6th Round was regular in those days. As an 11 year old I took it for granted, little did I know

.
Probably went to other away games before that (Dad worked on Railways) but that's the one I remember.
