Alex Baptiste at his best is better than EEL was at his best last season. Ebanks-Landell though is only 24 so should still be improving, Baptiste is 31 now.

If it came down to it, I think I would still choose Baptiste over EEL. We need a bit of experience too next year. Did like EEL though but we didn't miss him though when he got injured and he never managed to get back in the team.

Boro fan here. Baptiste is most likely available. He has still never played a game for us. Preston are believed to want him this season. We currently have at cb.

Gibson - rumours coming out the club are saying he will stay unless someone meets the 25m+ valuation. If he doe goes a replacement will come in. I'd guess Bartley.

Fry - who played 3 games in the U20 World Cup winning side. Sadly chapman never made an appearance.

Even with the above I wouldn't be surprised with another coming in.
