Nice optimism, but I think that they're not really worse than us. Inconsistent and inexperienced, but they have some good players and had a good game today.
I think if Killa hadn't been sent off, it would have been a nil-nil draw.
I think we will finish above them simply because we have strength in depth, but I don't think there's a massive gulf in quality between us and them.

No doubt you will finish above us.
You certainly have better players for example Beattie.
But a better squad i don't know.
Like you said, strength in depth will be the key to your season. Other than that, based on that you looked nothing special.

Thought we played ok with 10 men. But let them gloat...we'll get revenge in the home game next year. One thing I know is I'd rather be waking up as a Blade tomorrow despite the defeat, than a piggy.

I mean with a derby form and quality are thrown out of the equation. Personally I think we would have beat most other teams this weekend just a derby match throws things wide open. I think Tuesday night we should get an easy three points but next Saturday will be tough.
Still like the thread says, let em gloat.

I agree mate, we need three points mid week though or we could hit a shit patch!
Derbys do throw form and everything out of the window, but Piggies are unbeaten at home since april or something so it was always gonna be hard. We would have beat most other teams though I do agree. On another note, Reading won't beat us 6-0 hahaha
