Wilder always keeps his cards relatively close to his chest and then a transfer goes through. I guess you're thinking that because it's gone on for a few weeks, Wilder's view will be that Enda doesn't want to sign? I think there are many different factors that could be at play and I think he may sign still.
 

Still suffering from ' it's the blades way' hangover! In Wilder I trust but just getting slightly concerned over this transfer as it has gone so quiet. I think Enda is just the kind of player we need and I really hope we get him over the line.

Me too, you can't help but think someone else has come in or Pompey have offered fresh terms.

might have done and stevens is listening to their terms as well not gonna stop him from coming here though

The last that I heard on this one (I'm not ITK) was that the deal was done subject to him passing a medical after his return from Spain. He is there on a post-season treat with Portsmouth FC (not quite Vegas).
 

Only the league one season has almost finished and people are panicking about signings.

All the talk at the Pompey end was he's joined us (although not official yet), so the above makes sense.

Also Wilder doesn't release info on transfer bids until it's been finalised. The fact this news has been released suggests its 99% sure to happen.

There's no reports coming out of Pompey about a change of mind, so looks like he's still coming.
 
My son was sat next to James Shields on a Supertram today, He asked him about Stevens and he said, its a done deal, but he's away in Marbella with the other Portsmouth players at the moment, that's why its been delayed. He also said that CW wants to sign a few more early on and then wait to see who is out of favour with Premier league Clubs, when the season has started.
Genuine conversation and I would like to think James Shields knows more than the rest of us, but who knows.

Is it today Dad!? We've heard little that this deal is off either though, other than some interest from QPR.

Just seen that. This holiday must be about two weeks long because I'm sure its almost that long since the first rumours were that he was on holiday with Pompey! No reason to doubt James Shield though, I really hope this is true. One of the Pompey fans said that they were back on Tuesday and Gary Roberts is certainly not in Marbella, he's tweeted that he is off to Vegas! My guess is that they are back.

Should be able to compete with QPR these days, hasn't their owner spunked all his money on his F1 cars that can barely finish a race?

Have you been to Loftus Road? Given the choice of playing there or at the Lane, it's not even worth wasting five seconds thinking about it. The only 'advantage' is that it's in London but if a player has that as a main priority, we don't want them anyway.

Once, I thought it was a shithole to be honest. Back when Fernandes seemed more interested they had more money to throw around than Soft Mick. I'd imagine that would be quite a pull for some of the more mercenary types
