Apart from 13 teams who NEVER EVER bounced back to the PL.
Including a certain club who fucked it up again tonight.

Be few who will have had a pint or two after the game to drown their sorrows and will have downed over 1000 pints at the legal age but not seen a single minute of Premier football at the sty.

I thought the same when the cameras focused on some
Never EVER seen PL football.
Long may it continue, till tuna man fishes out all the fish and fucks off leaving the swine in the winding up net.

The Blades got relegated to the third division along with Reading and Huddersfield
There's a lot of weird symmetry at the moment, this, the pigs losing a play off to Huddersfield on pens as we get promoted.
Will there be a post in May next year saying '28 years ago'...?

Was this the day we lost at home to Bristol City?and do we hold the distinction of being the only team to be relegated via the play offs?

Then there was their loss to Hull at Wembley last season. Perhaps they're on some sort of perverse mission to emulate our greatest fuck ups in reverse order....... oh I really do hope so.

Thankfully, I'd just started work that season and had to work Saturdays!

Wasn't too happy the following two seasons though when I was still working them!

It's actually bizarre to recall just how poor that team was when Bassett took over. We had no cash and a shite team devoid of any character or backbone. It was truly miraculous that two seasons later we started the season playing Liverpool at home in Division 1 (Premier League).

In our team toward the end of the season,we had 2 real stalwarts,Dangerous Darren Carr and Paul Williams,it's a mystery why we got relegated with such quality in our ranks
