You can't have gone to the games in 2012 and just judging the stats.

If you had you would have seen he was head and shoulders the best player in league 1, scoring goals from nothing, he must have hit the woodwork about 15 times that season otherwise he's have had 40 goals. He turned us into a 1 man team, as soon as we went to prison the believe left the team.

Best displays from a striker I've seen since Brian Deane.

Leaving personal bias aside. For 6 months approaching PL standard and breaking into the Welsh national side.
 
We can look forward to a fully fit player with a proper pre-season's training and preparation of the highest order delivered by a thoroughly professional team. We then have to consider how Ched created his own chances before blasting 34 goals of stunning quality in League 1. Then consider the effect on a very successful team of losing him; we went from promotion certs showing unbeatable form to a team then showing relegation form. The psychological effect on his team-mates was devastating. Anyone who thinks this lad can't cut it alongside the players we have seen dominate League 1 this time around aren't thinking logically.

Back then we were heavily dependant on him; let's be frank - there's no way that Billy Sharp would have scored 34 goals in that team going for promotion that season. Billy's value to us cannot be over-estimated; he has been amazing this season. The prospects are stunning, and CW must be rubbing his hands together. Nothing is certain of course - Ched must get fully fit, and must show he's prepared to work his socks off and be a good team member. If he does, the smart money should be on the Blades next season.

I watched pretty much all the games in which scored lots of goals in League One.

Does this make him Premier League standard? Of course not.

Logic dictates he is/was potentially Championship standard but Premier League because he did very well in League One?

Have a word with yourself.

The only thing he is guilty of is cheating on his partner, now, I could point to quite a few footballers who have done that over the years including one who has his statue at the top of Wembley way...

You been off to visit BTL's "herbalist"? In all the excitement let's not forget his Championship record with us. Just for balance.
 
I am totally confident that Wilder has a completely free hand on whether to sign Evans or not and was not pressured into it. I am also sure Wilder will have been completely satisfied that Evans himself is properly motivated and will fit into the dressing room. He will also have negotiated a sensible fee and wage - and the figures mentioned above £150k and £4k a week sound sensible to me. Yes it is a gamble but Wilder/Knill will have assessed that and decided it's one stacked in our favour.
I also presume that the board and Wilder have carefully considered the PR side of this. The Board got it horribly wrong before - it was a PR disaster - and there is still likely to be some negative reaction from some. I am aware that at least one possible sponsor has been frightened off.
All this speculation that Evans was going to sue us is nonsense. He has no possible right of action against the club - indeed if anyone has a right of action it would be the club against him for behaving in a way which meant he got convicted and sent down and therefore could not fulfil his contractual obligations to play for us and meant we failed to get promotion.

If so then I am completely happy that they have pulled out as I don't want to see Utd sponsored by companies who are run by people bigoted enough to not want to associate themselves with a club who have exercised their right to sign a free man to practice his professional trade and who has LEGALLY done nothing wrong.

If they pulled out of a deal on 'player ethics' alone then that is a different matter and entirely up to them to make that decision, but then you have to question why they are getting into potentially sponsoring football in the first place as football is hardly the temple of moral righteousness.
