If the Sunday People is to believed McCabe could be on his way anyway they are reporting that an American consortium are planning on taking us over.:eek:
 
I think it would be abit stupid to get rid of him now i think we should at least wait another 10 to 15 games at least to see whether he is up to the Job over a full season.

Mark they can only buy SUFC if McCabe agree's......don't think he will do owt until the cheats have paid out !

From what I heard it wasn't a complete buy out just a large investment.

It would indeed be prudent on both sides to be aware of any imminent pay out from West Ham though.
 
I Just hope that if they do takeover that they do no start hiking the prices up to ridiculous levels because if they do that then they will be defeating the Object because us Sheffielders are as stubborn as they come and tight with regards to money and will not pay ridiculous amounts to watch the team.

I was having this conversation with my boss the other day.

What some hope for may be the death of the Blades!

I don't want to see 11 players, however good they may be as individuals, who don't give a shit.

So many teams in the Premiership have gone this way.

Is that what you lot want??

And this is why you don't see me on the other sites, if there was a site purely for people to go do that, fine. I still wouldn't be in favour of what was being said, but at least anyone who wanted to speak that way could go to one place instead of taking all around the message boards and forums.

We've played five league games. If we give him another fifteen, that makes twenty this season. A season is forty six league games, so your idea of giving him at most twenty games to see if he is up to the job "over a full season" doesn't work out.

The only way you can tell if anybody can manage a club for a full season is to let them.

Anyway, there is absolutely no way anyone can gloss over the fact that we were awful on Saturday.

As i was saying last week where is the creativity going to come from, I know Tonge wasn't playing the best week in week out, but we stood a chance of him having a decent game and him doing something with it.

Absolutely shocking performance and to get outplayed from a team with zero confidence doesn't give me much confidence of us having a good season.

I just don't think we have the squad to challenge for auto-promotion. And a play-off spot is not exactly there for the taking.

I know it's early doors but the team won't be improving that much till at least January. (that's if we can actually get anyone in)

By which time if Blackwell has f*cked up we will be back to square one selling our best players again Beattie & co will all be sold you can bet your house on that once the parachute payments run out.

United have got to speculate to accumilate thye have got to invest in alot of new midfield players in January and if we don't there is no excuses for Blackwell & McCabe and they will have alot to answer for.

What's more annoying is that a lot of other clubs seem to be able to get players in, but we can't. When are people going to look at our squad and realise it just isn't good enough.

If we sell a few players (Which all clubs do) then we seem to be able to buy more to replace them.
United have never mentioned the parachute payments so i don't see them being a problem when they do stop, wouldn't surprise me if we had just banked them and they are sat waiting to be used when they are really needed.
We have the players to get us at least a playoff place and I think with patience we will achieve that.

Calling for McCabe and Blackwell to just throw money at what people see as a problem (but most don't know whats going on behind the scenes) is pointless in my opinion cos they will do what they see as best for United.

United will always be United and I will always follow them not matter what.
