What a season, and how wonderful to have had our spirits lifted so high. The Blades family has come together, and the sense of well-being is tangible. As in all families, there is always something to worry about, and in my case it is the health of my fellow Blades. Our waistlines are expanding, we like our beer, we like our pie and chips, we sit on our backsides except when we stand up as the Blades attack, which fortunately has been frequent this season. There's plenty of smoking at half-time. There are even songs boasting of drinking other people's beer (germs on the bottles and glasses?) and having sex with their women (risk of sexually-transmitted diseases?). The stats for living a long life with such a lifestyle are not good. I am not expecting everyone to spend the summer eating salad and drinking water, but I wish everyone a good summer, and make sure you look after yourselves. We have had a lot of moving tributes this year to Blades we have lost, and it would be good to have as few as possible next year missing out on another great season. Come back in August in good heart (literally and metaphorically).

Given the quality of the football, the pricing for kids, and the celebrations, I hope loads of kids will be there next season. And sharing something like that with kids and grandkids is something you want to enjoy for many years.:) My grandson was hooked from the moment he realised he could jump up and down in his seat and shout, and no-one told him off. Don't know who he got it off!

All we need now is for the truffle-snufflers to fuck up in the play-offs.
Yup. I have one or two ideas for creative verbage we can hurl at them should they trot down the Lane. All very seemly of course.I am not comfortable effin n jeffin. wi kids abaht Time n a place n all that. Call me owd fashiond.I rub my hands with glee at the thought of shutting those phookers up
